Opening hours: 13:00 – 18:00 (Tuesday – Friday); 10:00 – 13:00 (Saturday). UNTIL DECEMBER 8 Human_Construct First major solo exhibition by Maltese artist Kane Cali at Blitz, St Lucy Street, Valletta. The works include busts cast in concrete and created through a process of digi- tal scanning and printing. Ce- ramic objects are slip cast, while glass objects are created through lost wax casting. A series of prints is on high quality archival paper. Marble and concrete relief works come from a collaboration with Reuben Lautier, and a col- laboration with FabLab Valletta is a hologram – a work created purely from light! UNTIL DECEMBER 10 Kreaturi Collective exhibition of work by children at Spazju Kreattiv at St James Cavalier, Valletta. Kreaturi, a Gabriel Caruana Foundation project, introduces children to modern and con- temporary art, Gabriel Caruana, and the Mill – Art, Culture and Crafts Centre, while encourag- ing creative expression through ceramic sculpture. Last August a group of children participated in eight workshops at The Mill - Art, Culture and Crafts centre, Birkirkara. Supported by Arts Council Malta, Creative Com- munities fund, co-sponsored by APS Bank and part of the Spazju Kreattiv and ŻiguŻajg Festival programmes. UNTIL DECEMBER 12 REL•INK – Indelible Narratives Collective exhibition draw- ing on the history of tattoos in Malta, on display at the Malta Maritime Museum, Birgu. Fea- turing oral accounts and images of tattoo designs of elderly Mal- tese men, who worked on ships or on the waterfront as stevedores, fishermen, longshoremen, dock- ers, sail makers, sailors, stew- ards, coalmen, firemen, Royal Navy service men, Merchant Navy men, firemen, stokers, la- bourers and others. REL•INK is a community outreach project in collaboration with the Malta Maritime Museum, the Library Information and Archive Scienc- es Department of the University of Malta and Arts Council Malta. UNTIL DECEMBER 16 An Accidental Find Exhibition of sculptures by Paul Scerri at The Pop-Up Gal- lery, 37, Treasury Street, Valletta. According to the artist: "They visualise a metaphor of emotions devouring society, the human vulnerability and imperfections. Meeting point is at the St Thomas Bay car park at 09:00. Ram- blers Malta have rated this walk as being 'mod- erate' due to rough ground. Also, the partici- pants will be walking close to the cliff edge. The walk will take roughly three hours. The re-enactment portrays the inspection of the fort and its garrison by the Grand Bailiff of the Order of the Knights of St John in charge of military affairs. During the re-enactment, of the fort's garrison - some 50 re-enactors in all, kitted- out in their uniforms perform their military drill to demonstrate to the Grand Bailiff its state of readiness. Tickets can be purchased at the door. Almost There Interactive one-day visual art event organ- ised by FRAGMENTA at Sant'Elena Band Club, Birkirkara from 13:00 to 17:00. As part of the event, photographer Darrin Zammit Lupi presents beautiful landscape images that were created while on a two-week migrant search and rescue mission this past October, thus providing an in-built disturbance in our personal perception of beauty. Karen Irmer invites viewers to step into and explore un- known mystic spaces physically. Quite often those are, such as the horizon, sites that are unreachable by definition. The aesthetic play- ing with perception is a concept which often reoccurs in Karen Irmer's work. What is really there, and what could be? Reality or appari- tion? Il-Ħmar t'Alla In collaboration with the Sacred Heart Semi- nary of Gozo, the Gozo Creative Theatre Club presents Il-Ħmar t'Alla by Joseph W. Psaila at Sacred Heart Major Seminary Hall in Victo- ria, Gozo at 15:00. The performance will conclude the events which mark the 150th Anniversary of the Sem- inary's inauguration.
