SAVIOUR BALZAN THE magisterial inquiry into allegations of a secret Panama offshore company owned by the wife of the Maltese PM, is seeking information on an alleged $400,000 transfer from Pilatus Bank to a business partner of Michelle Muscat in the USA. Magistrate Aaron Bugeja requested forensic IT assistance in the UK to carry out a search for specific details of the alleged transfer from Pilatus chairman Seyed Ali Sadr Hashemine- jad's sister – a fashion designer – to Michelle Buttigieg. A similar request originally made nine months ago to American authorities, has not yet delivered any result on whether the transaction took place or not. 14 15 PHOTO JAMES BIANCHI Newspaper post maltatoday today today SUNDAY • 21 JANUARY 2018 • ISSUE 950 • PUBLISHED EVERY WEDNESDAY AND SUNDAY PUMPING MAD How countryside fuel stations mushroomed all over Malta since 2013 YOUR FIRST READ AND CLICK OF THE DAY WWW.MALTATODAY.COM.MT €1.75 INTERVIEW Martin Balzan UK experts probe allegation of $400,000 Pilatus transfer to Michelle Muscat's US friend Labour gave Vitals 'sole disrection' to hold on to hospitals for 99 years KU RT SANSON E AT the stroke of a pen, Vitals Global Healthcare can unilaterally decide to ex- tend a 30-year concession on three State hospitals to 99 years, MaltaToday has learnt.
