For the past couple of years, we've heard how Valletta was to become the European Capital of Culture
in 2018. After all the committee meetings, conferences, preparations, development, embellishment
and regulations, the time has now come. Following yesterday's official launch of Valletta 2018, all
eyes are now on our capital city for the next 12 months. It is set to be a year filled with events
and activities that will portray Valletta as so much more than the architectural jewel many already
acknowledge it to be.
