But don't get too comfortable because The Nun will scare you senseless. The supernatural horror movie is a spin-off of The Conjuring 2 with a plot following a Roman Catholic priest and a nun in her novitiate as they uncover an unholy secret in 1952 Romania. Outlander The fourth season of Outlander is soon coming out, so why not catch up on old episodes before the release date? The series starts in 1946, as World War II nurse Claire Randall and her husband meet again after fi ve years apart and visit Scotland, when she is carried back in time to the 18th century from the standing stones at Craigh na Dun. With no way home, Claire falls in a group of Scottish rebels and no idea where to go. Sierra Burgess is a Loser This high school movie follows Sierra, who is unpopular at school. When a sweet football player asks Veronica, one of the popular girls, for her number, she gives him Sierra's number instead in an effort to embarrass Sierra. This leads to a case of mistaken iden- tity, with Jamie messaging and falling for Sierra, without realising it was her. Good Charlotte – Generation RX The Madden twins, Benji and Joel, have returned to the music scene with their new album, Generation RX. The album tackles current issues with the same brashness they used to puncture the lifestyles of the rich and the famous when they started out two decades ago. The single "Prayers" shows how much things have changed, as they use a straightforward rock framework to throw punches at "thoughts and prayers" culture. Avril Lavigne – Head Above water Lavigne has just released her fi rst song in fi ve years, 'Head Above Water', in which she recounts her battle with Lyme disease. The power ballad fi nds Lavigne belting over a steady mix of piano, strings, synths and drums. In the lyrics, Lavigne searches for hope and faith while her body fi ghts the disease, and she projects a potent urgency into her voice. Hardcore Superstar – You Can't Kill My Rock 'N Roll The Swedish four-piece have just released their rockin' album, 'You Can't Kill My Rock 'N Roll'. The album will confi rm that rock isn't dead, with the 12-track album featuring great rock music with a mix of guitar and drum solos throughout. Patatinu l-hmar ta' qalbu tajba – Maria Ferriggi For the young readers that fell in love with Patatinu, comes the sequel Patatinu l-hmar ta' qalbu tajba, by Maria Ferriggi, published by Horizons. Patatinu's adventures continue on Gianni's farm. What does Leda want from Patatinu? And for whom is the new female donkey? What happens when Patatinu meets his new neighbours? Who is Adalja? Everything Under – Daisy Johnson 27-year-old British novelist Daisy Johnson has become the youngest writer ever to be shortlist- ed for the Man Booker prize, with her novel Everything Under,which centres around a troubled mother-daughter relationship that reimagines the Greek myth of Sophocles' Oedipus in modern Britain. It is one of six novels on a shortlist described by the chair of judges as refl ecting the "dark times" we live in. The Order of the Day – Eric Vuillard Eric Vuillard's extraordinary award-winning novel about the early days of the Third Reich, trans- lated from the French by Mark Polizzotti, highlights the greed and viciousness of those who supported Hitler during the war. In February 1933, 24 German businessmen gather secretly and agree to fi nance the Nazi Party. British Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain learns that Hitler has invaded Austria on 12 March 1938, while hosting a farewell lunch for Ambassador von Rib- bentrop.
