Goosebumps 2 has just been released. When two teenage boys unlock a secret book hidden in a mysterious chest, they unwittingly resurrect evil ventriloquist dummy Slappy who sets out to unleash the apocalypse by bringing Halloween to life in a brand-new comedy adventure based on R.L. Stine's best- selling series of books. All the family will enjoy this movie, just in time for spooky Halloween. Haunting of Hill House Your kids might have a hard time falling asleep if they watch this TV show. Netfl ix's new horror series has been praised by Stephen King himself and has been terrify- ing audiences around the world. In the summer of 1992, Hugh and Olivia Crain temporarily move into an old mansion, Hill House, along with their fi ve children: Steven, Shirley, Theodora, Luke and Eleanor. They start to experience paranormal occurrences and tragic loss, forcing them to move out of the house. Churchill's Secret Agents: The New Recruits In this reality show, the past and present collide in this series steeped in history. Fourteen contestants go through the same rigorous four-day selection process that Britain's top-secret World War II spies endured. The recruits travel to a remote estate and train on using weapons like guns and explosives, as well as training in hand-to-hand combat. As the education continues, physical obstacles take their toll on the contestants, who are eliminated throughout the competition. Eddie Fresco – A Soul for Mine EP Eddie Fresco, who forms part of Malta's own hip-hop collective 215, released his EP 'A Soul of Mine'. The trio is quickly transforming Malta's hip-hop scene, and Fresco's seven-track EP brings with it a uniqueness that the island didn't know it needed. The collective has various gigs coming up, so make sure to keep an eye out on these young talents. Check Fresco's EP online. Khalid – Suncity EP Teenage wonder Khalid has been making music nonstop since his song 'Location' be- came a massive hit. Releasing his new EP, 'Suncity', Khalid's pop induced R&B style is infectious and turning it off becomes a diffi culty. His wide stylistic range is showcased throughout the EP, with no two tracks sounding the same. Check the young artist's tracks online now, and see what you think! MØ – Forever Neverland Inspired by the Spice Girls and Sonic Youth, MØ has just released her second album mixing styles and tones to produce a truly unique tracklist. The weirdness of the singer is celebrated in Forever Neverland, with several experimental songs featuring different styles. It might not be for everyone, but her album reaches a wider audience then her fi rst one. Check the album out online. 40 Sena ta' Wahx... u aktar – Editor Joe Cassar Anton Grasso... essentially for those who would like to read his works for the fi rst time or for those who have walked with him throughout his forty years career of publications. Anton Grasso...40 Sena ta' Wahx u aktar is an intrinsic mir- ror of the heart and soul of one of the most prolifi c contemporary authors, controversial as much as he is enigmatic, sensitive as much as he is fearful. Grasso is an author whose writings are embedded in the abyss of mystery. For the fi rst time there is a selection of works from different authors about him, a selection of stories and poems chosen by Joe Cassar, who is a journalist and and admirer of his works and photos some of which published for the fi rst time, chosen by Annette Apap, his girlfriend, who spent more than half her life with him. Milkman – Anna Burns Anna Burn's novel, 'Milkman' has won the Man Booker Prize 2018 this week, so it's almost essential to read the novel. Based in an unnamed city in Northern Ireland, the unnamed protagonist, only identifi ed as 'middle sister' tries to make her way in a time of trouble as she is forced in a relationship with an older man. The novel explores themes of vio- lence, oppressive states and conformism in a way without explicitly showing it. The Diary of a Bookseller – Shaun Bythell In a hilarious account of life in Scotland's biggest second-hand bookshop, and the band of eccentric people who work there, 'The Diary of a bookseller' is bound to be an interesting and compelling read. In these wry and hilarious diaries, Shaun provides an inside look at the trials and tribulations of life in the book trade, from struggles with eccentric cus- tomers to wrangles with his own staff.
