The Electric power produces more opportunities for creat- ing the dramatic performance that excites the senses. The I-PACE powertrain provides 400PS and 700Nm of usable instant torque. With built-in All Wheel Drive trac- tion, I-PACE accelerates from 0-100km/h in 4.8 seconds. It is designed with 90kWh for longevity and supports ex- tended periods of constant maximum power. I-PACE's battery is posi- tioned within the wheelbase to provide the vehicle with a low-centre of gravity which makes the vehicle dynamics advancing, making I-PACE a true driver's car. The battery is placed centrally between the housing and the under- floor that enables perfect 50:50 weight distribution and a low centre gravity. 80% bat- tery charge can be achieved in just 90minutes by using a 50kW DC rapid charger. Together with the advanced double wishbone front and Integral Link rear axle with air suspension (that is option- al) and configurable Adaptive Dynamics the car offers out- standing ride comfort. For further driver confi- dence, I-PACE has Torque vectoring by braking that of- fers controlled independent braking on the individual in- side front and rear wheels to improve turning forces acting on the car. In most circum- stances braking pressure is added to the rear inside wheel as this supports the most in- creased cohering capability. Meanwhile the front inside wheel is braked for greater ef- fectiveness and enhancement. When travelling at speeds more than 105km/hr over extended periods of time, I- PACE's optional Active Air Suspension will automati- cally lower the car by 10mm. With Active Air Suspension I-PACE will benefit from re- ducing the space between the car and the road that advanc- es aerodynamic performance and range. Adaptive Dynamics are fit- ted in the vehicle to con- stantly analyse acceleration, throttle and brake activity, steering, and the electroni- cally controlled dampers, for more precise dynamics and luxurious ride. This will allow the individual to personalise I-PACE'S throttle sensitivity, steering weighting and damp- er stiffness. For more exceptional per- formance I-PACE consists of two Jaguar-designed elec- tric motors. These are posi- tioned at each axle to pro- duce excellent performance of 400PS and 696Nm, and all-wheel-drive, all surface traction. I-PACE offers sports car performance through the high torque density and high- energy efficiency characteris- tics of the motors, launching the I-PACE from a standing start to 100km/h in just 4.8 seconds. The bespoke EV alu- minium architecture uses ad- vanced technology to deliver a light but stiff body struc- ture. The vehicle includes a structural battery pack that has a torsional rigidity of 36kNm/degree, which makes it the highest of any Jaguar. I-PACE is designed and engineered to take full ad- vantage of its smart electric powertrain and increase its potential of the packaging benefits it brings. This makes the Jaguar I-PACE more unique than other vehicles on the road. Active vanes are installed in the grille to optimise the balance between cooling and aerodynamics, where it opens when cooling is required then closes when not needed to re- direct air through the integral bonnet scoop to add smooth airflow. It offers bold aero-efficient design and interior space for five adults and 656 litres of luggage space. The layout inside the vehicle enhances space for passengers while sophisticated materials and exquisite attention to detail classify this as a true Jaguar. The Jaguar I-PACE uses connected car technology, where it features the Touch Pro Duo Infotainment system to Jaguar. Touch Pro Duo of- fers an innovative dual touch- screen setup, equipped with capacitive sensors and tactile physical controls which is in- tuitive to use. EV navigation system is installed to assess the topography of the route to destination and insights from previous journeys. This including driving style to cal- culate personalised range and charging status for the ulti- mate driver confidence. The advanced system uses 'Smart Settings' technology driven by AI algorithms to identify individual driver preferences, and then tailors the I-PACE's driving and interior settings accordingly. I-PACE will also be launched with Jaguar InControl Remote app. This app makes informa- tion such as battery charging level, location and cabin tem- perature, available at the pal of your hand all around the world. This is installed to ensure owners always have access to the latest infotainment, tele- matics and battery energy control software, I-PACE will be the first Jaguar to offer software over-the-air provid- ing seamless updates. I-PACE will be a popular choice for private customers, companies seeking to reduce their carbon footprint and fleet costs and for profession- als. Adaptive Surface Response (AdSR) continually monitors the car's environment and adjusts the appropriate mo- tor and brake settings. Once selected, AdSR works at all speed to support you in ad- verse weather and across challenging surfaces. All surface progress control is a state-of the art system that allows the individual to set and maintain a steady speed in challenging conditions such as slippery surfaces. It functions between 3.6km/h and 30km/h, enabling you to maintain full concentration on the road ahead. When driving in heavy traffic I-PACE provides the individual, by utilising the touchscreen, to raise the level of regenerative braking. The corresponding response will increase in declaration which means that in stop and go traffic, for example, one can usethe throttle for more con- trol in the car's speed.
