THIS coming Sunday, ASMK
will be launching the 'Honda
Motocross National Champi-
onship 2018/2019'.
This event will be the first
competitive event of this
Championship where Moto-
cross riders in three different
classes will be in competition
for the lead right from the
championship start.
The previous event was a
Fun Race following the sum-
mer break and an introduc-
tion to the present champion-
ship.
The Association is also or-
ganising Holy Mass in the
ASMK complex in memory of
former members who passed
away. The Mass begins at
10am.
The Motocross Warm-Up
is to start at 11am. All is to
take place at the ASMK Sport
Complex at Ta' Qali.
The rainy weather of these
last weeks has forced the As-
sociation to cancel two activi-
ties that were planned in the
Events Calendar. The Enduro
race for Motorcycles sched-
uled for Sunday 11 November
is now expected to take place
on Sunday 16 December.
The races for the Autocross
Cars of Sunday 18 November
are now scheduled to be held
on 9 December 2018.
The Association said work
is in progress on the 2018
ASMK Derby Demolition
which is expected to be held
on Sunday 23 December 2018.
In preparation for this Dem-
olition Race, ASMK will be
holding a meeting for anyone
interested in participating in
this year's edition.
To be able to participate one
must be 18 years of age and is
in possession of a valid driving
licence. The meeting will be held
on Thursday 29 November 2018
in the Parish Centre Hall in Triq
il-Knisja, Had Dingli and starts
at 8pm.
