This will be the second competition of this season. The programme on Sunday morning starts at 10am with the warm-up laps followed by the Qualifying and two Offi- cial races counting for the day's result. The activity will be held at the ASMK Sports Complex at Ta' Qali. Meanwhile on Sunday 25th December 2018 ASMK opened the Motocross Championship where with four classes of driv- ers on the track. In Class A we saw Kyle Camilleri on a KTM motorcycle dominating the day, first by winning the quali- fication. During the first race of the two Heats Camilleri, on his KTM, took the lead ahead of Muscat Paul on a Yamaha and continued to defend his place until the end of the race. But in the second race Muscat took the lead ahead of Camilleri who was making so much pressure on Muscat that on the sixth Lap Camilleri took the lead and held this placing until the finish in front of Muscat. Thus the fi- nal result shows Camilleri Kyle winning the two Heats of the day followed by Paul Muscat. Third place was won by Trevor Muscat on a Honda motorcy- cle. In Class B Debono Garry, on his KTM motorcycle, domi- nated the Qualifying Heats, followed by Daniel Caruana on a Honda motorcycle and Krist Falzon on a Husqvarna motorcycle. But during the two official Heats the situa- tion changed as we saw Caru- ana dominating the two Heat Races though he was followed by Debono. Yet the final result shows Caruana winning Class B, followed by Debono. Third place winner was Krist Falzon on a Husqvarna motorcycle while in fourth place is Michael Sant on his Husqvarna motor- cycle.
