14 maltatoday | SUNDAY • 27 JANUARY 2019 COMMERCIAL Frank Salt Real Estate celebrates another successful year THE magnificent ballroom at the Hotel Phoenicia in Flori- ana was once again chosen as the venue for Frank Salt Real Estate's end of year lunch. The nearly 200-person-strong Frank Salt team, together with managers and directors, was treated to a scrumptious lunch, and together celebrated the end of yet, another successful year, which has exceeded eve- ryone's expectations. Frank Salt, Chairman of the company as well as Malta's Real Estate industry pioneer, wel- comed and addressed the gath- ering, saying he was humbled by the success of his people and the sheer growth of Frank Salt Real Estate which has gone from a small family run business to an organisation with branches cov- ering the Maltese islands and en- joying a sterling reputation both locally and overseas based on its long standing values of integrity and trust. As per company tradition, apart from the meal, the most awaited moment during the afternoon was the 'Best Video Competi- tion'. Comical, tongue-in-cheek videos were produced in the run up to the event and presented to all attending the lunch. Each vid- eo had everyone in fits of laughter but the coveted prize went to the team formed by IT, St Julians Let- ting and Property Management. More serious awards followed the 'Best Video Competition'; these were the awards for top performers for 2019. Awards in- cluded 'Best Sales Consultant' and 'Best Letting Consultant', 'Best Commercial Consultant', 'Award for the Consultant with The Highest Revenue in Sales' and 'Award for the Consultant with The Highest Revenue in Let- ting', 'Best New Recruits', 'Award for Outstanding Contribution', two 'Certificates of Distinction', and a new addition this year was the 'Award for Innovation'. Property consultants who won the top awards received a beauti- ful framed certificate and a tro- phy, as well as a generous cash reward. Director of Operations Darren de Domenico said the company owed its success to the hard work of its people. "That is why it is paramount for us that our staff knows how much we value them and make an effort to reward those who go the extra mile," he said. "Events such as these play an important part in the culture of our company. They bring every- one together under one roof in an informal atmosphere; colleagues get the opportunity to unwind, socialise and celebrate their suc- cess stories. Life cannot be just about work: helping our people form friendships, build relation- ships, and making them feel they truly belong to the Frank Salt family is our continuous driving force."
