19 COMMERCIAL maltatoday | SUNDAY • 17 FEBRUARY 2019 REAL estate giant RE/MAX Malta recently donated €50,000 to the President's Trust and the Malta Commu- nity Chest Fund. The amount, which was passed on directly to President Marie Louise Coleiro Preca during the com- pany's Christmas party at the Westin Dragonara Resort, in- cluded €40,000 specifically in aid of the #HelpThemRead charity drive campaign, which was launched in the final quar- ter of 2018 to support 60 visu- ally-impaired children. Addressing RE/MAX staff at the party – many of whom also attended with their part- ners – President Marie Lou- ise Coleiro Preca said: "I am proud of all of you for grasp- ing such a noble cause and making it your quest to raise such a substantial amount for less fortunate children who urgently required equipment to empower them to be able to read. This gesture will be life altering for these children and the community at large. The RE/MAX & Friends Founda- tion is a shining example to other companies, as a beacon of Corporate Social Responsi- bility." The RE/MAX & Friends Foundation, together with RE/MAX's Sales and Letting offices, organised a competi- tion to see which branch could raise the most funds for the cause. From trekking events and blind-folded dog walks, to hot dog and lemonade stand sales and car washes (and even musical concerts featuring lo- cal artists, five-a-side football tournaments and children fun days), the company went the extra mile to ensure that it was were able to reach its target. The offices that raised the most for the #HelpThemRead Campaign were treated to a surprise presentation, where certificates were personally presented by Coleiro Preca. The top five offices to receive certificates were: RE/MAX Al- liance Tigne, RE/MAX Affili- ates Fgura, RE/MAX Affiliates Ta' L-Ibrag, RE/MAX Alliance Marina, and RE/MAX Affili- ates Crown Sliema. Jeff Buttigieg, a board mem- ber on the RE/MAX & Friends Foundation, stated: "We set some challenging targets and it did seem to be a very diffi- cult task to begin with, but it brought the whole company together. All 27 offices that got involved, believed in the cause and achieved this fantas- tic result together. It was very satisfying to see so many self- less acts being made by peo- ple within our organisation… They believed in one goal, and they enjoyed themselves." The RE/MAX & Friends Foundation is a non-profit or- ganisation that was founded in 2014. Its main focus is to raise funds for chronically-ill chil- dren. The Foundation also re- tains a percentage of its funds for staff members that may fall chronically ill and who could require monetary support for approved treatments. Fahrenheit - a name as a car carrier IN 2019, CHANEL unveils a new interpretation of the Chance Eau Tendre fragrance as an Eau de Parfum. With Chance Eau Tendre Eau de Parfum, perfumer- creator Olivier Polge, in cooperation with the CHANEL Laboratory of Fragrance Creation and Development, rein- terprets the floral-fruity signature. More intense, more enveloping, this version expresses a radiant and confident femininity. Its floral heart accentu- ates the fullness of exotic jasmine absolute, enriched with an essence of rose that shines a soft light at the centre of the composition. More feminine than ever, this floral equation is draped in just the right dose of smooth and creamy white musk notes to create a clean, cottony effect. Immediately illuminated by the tangy whirl of the grapefruit-quince accord, Chance Eau Tendre Eau de Parfum brings a feeling of absolute ten- derness. Delicate and profoundly poetic, this new compo- sition evokes a woman whose joy and inner glow gives her instant charm. For the occasion, the round bottle with a gold neck takes on a silvery hue for the die-shaped cap. An aura of softness
