16 maltatoday | SUNDAY • 31 MARCH 2019 COMMERCIAL FARSONS Group employees and their families have, for the 18th consecutive year, partici- pated in the now established Corporate Social Responsi- bility (CSR) Day, traditionally held on the feast day of St Jo- seph. Due to this year's long weekend holiday bridge, the Group opted for Sunday, 24th March. The Group chose to work in the gardens at Villa Chelsea in Birkirkara in support of the Richmond Foundation. Joined by a team from Multigas, all the tasks allocated were com- pleted by the volunteers, in- cluding their children. "Residents of Villa Chelsea need our support, and we are convinced that as with the rest of the organisations taking part in this CSR Day initiative, the recipients have benefited from our employees' input. We thank them for providing us with an opportunity to fo- cus on other people's needs and to put our collective skills to work for the benefit of oth- ers," commented John Attard, Manager – Environmental and Resource Efficiency at Si- monds Farsons Cisk plc, and coordinator for the event.
