Race 3 Results: 1st place - El Diablo (20 points) 2nd place - Marine Diffu- sion (17 points) 3rd place - Freccia Blu (15 points) 4th place - Atomic & Grey (14 points) 5th place - Cutting Edge - DNF (0 points) 6th place - Interceptor Re- max - DNF (0 points) 7th place - Lethiec - DNS (0 points) It was a long but beauti- ful day here at St. Paul's Bay, that started at 09:30 with a Pilots Meet and Greet and continued with several events throughout the day including the 15.00hrs V2 Powerboat Championship Race 3. Aaron Ciantar said it was an incredible weekend, and that the crowd made it even more special. "It's such a great reward to celebrate podiums with such an amazing crowd, it's fulfill- ing and heart-warming. Have to also thank all the parties involved in making this event possible and our employees who were simply spot on in all preparations," he said. "Last but not least a big thanks to our sponsors es- pecially Enemed, Visit Malta and GamingMalta together with the St. Paul's Bay mayor and council and all the au- thorities who were instru- mental in the smooth opera- tions of this GP". GP1 (Overall Weekend) Results: 1st place – Marine Diffusion (57 points) 2nd place – Freccia Blu (46 points) 3rd place – Atomic & Grey (42 points) 4th place – El Diablo (37 points) 5th place - Cutting Edge (15 points) 6th place - Interceptor Re- max (0 points) The VOOMQUEST En- emed UIM V2 World Pow- erboat Championship – GP1 started on Friday 26th and saw 6 teams; Atomic & Grey #31 (Belgium), Cutting Edge #77 (Malta), Freccia Blu #11 (Malta), Marine Diffusion #55 (Corsica, France), Inter- ceptor Remax #19 (Malta) and El Diablo #88 (Malta), kick-start the Championship with an Official Testing. Team Marine Diffusion took first place on the Po- dium for the V2 Powerboat Championship Races 1 and 2 on Saturday 27th. Enemed Executive Chair- man Kevin Chircop said it was exciting to see different teams climbing the podium, making this championship unique as there is no one giv- en winner. "There is great comradery on land and fair competi- tion on the water which con- vinces me that what we are building here is a true world championship title," he said. "Obviously, we are also very proud to say that once again our fuels, particularly ePower petrol delivered outstanding results."
