We've handpicked a few enjoyable things to do in Ibiza for all ages. Cala Comte Located on the west side of the is- land, Cala Comte is a popular destina- tion surrounded by gorgeous scenery, including sand dunes and rocky cliffs behind the beach. The exceptional combination of the infinite shades of blue in the crystal clear waters cre- ates a unique and unforgettable sight, making it nothing short of extraordi- nary. The eastern side of the beach is an unofficial nudist spot whereas the western side is popular with locals and tourists. Other rocky and small coves surround Cala Comte creat- ing huge natural pools for the perfect swimming and snorkelling experienc- es. Cala Comte is also one of Ibiza's most renowned sunset spots, boasting breath-taking views as the sun slowly melts into the sea. This place has to be seen to be believed. Sa-Penya Quarter This former fishing district is with- out a doubt this is one of the town's most picturesque districts. Its steep streets reach as much as 30 metres above sea level and descend towards the La Marina district and the docks. All the streets are pedestrian and cobblestone streets with some of the city's best offbeat shopping and op- portunities to explore. The stores of- fer plenty of local products, souvenirs, clothes or textiles. You can also spend hours browsing the hippie markets for handicrafts and art while appreciating Ibiza's original port and marina. The late-night scene draws quite a diverse crowd with street performers and drag queens patrolling the area. Clubs are open late and parties last all night long. Visit to the Old Town Also known as D'Alt Vila (meaning Upper Town), Ibiza's Old Town has been named a UNESCO World Herit- age Site in 1999 and is one of the is- land's biggest tourist attractions. The main entrance leads you to one of the most beautiful walkways in Ibiza. In addition to the castle and its walls, there is a cathedral, a monastery and several museums. Visit D'Alt Vila for its old-world charm, art galleries, gift shops and the beautiful cobblestoned streets.
