20 maltatoday | SUNDAY • 19 MAY 2019 COMMERCIAL Atlas Insurance Marketing and HR Manager Jackie Attard Montalto (first left) with members of Exhale - the winning team AT the JA-YE Malta Finals and Awards Night held recently, Atlas Insurance Marketing and HR Manager Jackie Attard Montalto presented the Digital Marketing Award to Exhale – the winning team. Exhale's product is a portable breatha- lyser – created to help raise awareness about the serious is- sue of drunk driving. Since it is a keychain, it can be easily used to test yourself to check if you are fit to drive. Atlas has supported Junior Achievement Young Enter- prise for a number of years, but this is the first year JA-YE has given an award in Digital Mar- keting, which Atlas was proud to sponsor. "This Award is a reflection of the importance of digital mar- keting - no longer a 'nice to have', of a few years ago, but a critical component of any mar- keting plan. Digital allows us to engage very specific target au- diences, building rapport and customer loyalty. It also of- fers the opportunity to give a human face to the brand, and reach out to customers in real time," said Attard Montalto. "Our mission statement at Atlas proclaims a 'purpose beyond profit' underlying our role as an insurance company – to give people that sense of security and reassurance when embarking on different milestones in their lives – a new home, a well-deserved trip, or a business venture, she explained. "It is this same purpose which encourages us to go beyond our role within the financial services industry and reach out into the com- munity, to assist people and organisations like JA-YE in achieving their goals. By sup- porting JA-YE, we believe that we are assisting young people to gain competencies that will support them as they enter the workplace, and in their daily lives." Atlas sponsors Digital Marketing Award at JA-YE Awards Night SITE excavation works for The Shoreline Residence's multi-purpose project at Ric- asoli, in the vicinity of Smart- City Malta, have commenced. The competitive tender for the complete excavation of the site has been awarded to Polidano Group, a long established and experienced Maltese firm well equipped to handle this large- scale assignment. During March this year, The Shoreline received the defini- tive approval of its develop- ment application by the Plan- ning Authority (PA) regarding its upmarket and distinctive landmark project on the east coast of Malta. Excavation works are expected to be com- pleted by end October 2019. This will be followed by the engagement of the main con- struction contractor. Home to approximately 370 luxury apartments, The Shore- line will comprise a 2-storey, double-height shopping mall covering 25,500sq.m, with ample space for underground parking, overlooking the Smart City Laguna, recreation areas and other amenities, making it one of the larger private construction project in Malta to date. The Shore- line aims to offer its residen- tial clients affordable luxury in a secure, car-free and clean environment close to all that matters, as well as the added value of exciting investment and retail options so lacking in the south. "Our vision is to create a great place to establish roots, raise a family, and appreci- ate the great views – in one phrase: to enjoy the superb lo- cation close to all that matters. When one considers all tangi- ble and intangible aspects of these properties, one realises that The Shoreline is truly of- fering affordable luxury in a safe, car-free and unpolluted environment," said Andrew Gatt, Sales and Marketing Manager At this stage on site heavy equipment, including a spe- cial cutting machine, is being utilized. This phase is divided into two parts: preparatory work for excavations to be followed by direct digging for construction purposes. The earmarked site will be exca- vated down to five levels to accommodate one double- height retail area, and three levels of garage spaces for over 1,000 cars. As a responsible enterprise, The Shoreline has further an- nounced that it appointed En-Sure (www.ensure.com. mt/) as environmental site monitors. "We recognise the importance of environmental responsibility, which includes on-going environmental mon- itoring according to a com- prehensive suite of param- eters that comprise air quality, noise and vibration, among others. The good news is that some 90% of the 230,000 cubic metres of rock to be excavated will be used again as recycled material," said Ben Muscat, Chairman of The Shoreline Residence Ltd. En-sure carries out such site monitoring in accordance with international standards, using sampling protocols in accordance with approved method statements.
