maltatoday | SUNDAY • 30 JUNE 2019 21 COMMERCIAL GOING above and beyond, Emmanuel Delicata Win- emaker has launched the winery's charitable initiative called 'Delicata for Good' with one vision in mind and that is to help build a better commu- nity by giving back. The Delicata winery has al- ways recognised that being responsible for good works is part of conducting good busi- ness. But, as the supercentenar- ian winery's success increases, the Delicata family deems the time right to increase its social impact by looking at commu- nity support and sustainability in a brand new light. With the benevolent Delicata for Good project, the winery is committing to a more pro- active way of patronage, still inspired by integrity and core family values, but directed to- wards heightening awareness and donating funds for one truly good cause at a time. From food or shelter relief to research scholarships or environmental rehabilitation, water conservation, the fight against illiteracy, disease pre- vention and increasing pet adoptions, just to name a few in an evolving society, the ar- eas in which one can assist are endless. For an organisation to make it on to the Delicata for Good list, it needs to be transparent- ly managed and fighting for a just cause that is evidence- backed and relevant. The first beneficiary of Delicata for Good is Nature Trust Malta, a non-profit non- governmental environmental organisation and a privileged partner of World Wildlife Fund (WWF). Nature Trust Malta carries out many laudable projects to conserve the Maltese natu- ral heritage and is in constant need of backing to save species such as the sea turtle, one of the most endangered animals in the world. The Delicata winery is fund- ing the cost of a high-tech tracking device that will get placed on the back of a res- cued sea turtle. The turtle will be returned safely to the wild once fully rehabilitated. The device will allow Nature Trust Malta to gain invaluable information about sea turtle migration. The turtle's journey can then be followed on the Delicata Facebook page www.face- book.com/DelicataWinery/ It is envisaged that this will raise public awareness in an effective and enjoyable man- ner. 19 HSBC Malta launched its enhanced personal inter- net banking service. This enhanced platform - which comes with the latest in in- ternet security - has a fresh look and feel and a simplified design, making it much easier for customers to manage their accounts online. To support their customers and give them time to famil- iarise themselves with the en- hanced design, HSBC Malta is following a phased approach when it comes to the upgrad- ing of the functionality being made available. The first launch of the en- hanced features will consist of a new log-on process, which will be much simpler and just as secure. Customers will also access a simpler account selec- tion, a redesigned quick links menu and a slicker transaction history screen. For now, all other internet banking functions will remain as they are, and users will link to these seamlessly through the new quick links menu. Customers shall be contacted on an individual basis as soon as they have been migrated to the enhanced platform. Customers are reminded that HSBC Malta will never ask for confidential information or confirmation of any security details, and links shared by the bank will only take users to in- formation pages. Once migrated, customers that are on the enhanced new platform will see a new log-on page which will only ask for their username, and users will simply need to follow the new log on journey. Customers will also be pro- vided with a set of frequently asked questions (FAQs) to en- sure that the transition is as simple as possible. Furthermore, those custom- ers who have been moved on to the enhanced service may contact the HSBC Malta Con- tact Centre or check the HSBC Malta Facebook page to obtain any required support or assis- tance as required.
