scooters around Malta sport-

then you have come across
Malta's largest electric scooter
sharing service, Whizascoot.
Whizascoot – which takes its
name from the Maltese term
for lizard, wiżgħa – launched
earlier this year, and allows
its users to conveniently rent
a scooter and get to the place
they need to be quickly, cheap-
ly and in an environmentally
friendly way.
e process of renting a
scooter for a quick trip is sim-
ple: 1. Download the Whizas-
coot app for iOS or Android.
Register using either the app
or the whizascoot.mt website,
2. Verify your drivers' licence
via the Whizascoot app, 3.
Locate a scooter near you
through the app, book it free
of charge and start your ride.
You can then ride to your des-
tination and park anywhere
within Whizascoot's business
areas.
ere are 150 Whizascoot
escooters scattered around
Malta and Gozo – all of which
are 100% electric, emitting no
CO2 – with the company also
operating a 24/7 fleet support
team to ensure its custom-
ers get the support they need
through integrated communi-
cation channels.
Rides are priced at €.021 per
minute. And if you are plan-
ning on running a quick errand
and returning to your Whiza
scooter for a ride back home
or to another destination, you
can temporarily "pause" the
ride.

scooter parked in its desig-
nated area, at a cost of €0.15
per minute, by pressing the
"P" button on the app. Once
you're done, you can return to
the scooter, press "Drive", and
get on your way again.
Frequent Whizascoot users
can also opt to choose between
four packages, ranging from
the Whiza 200 pack, priced
at €35 for 200 minutes of use,
to the Whiza 1000, priced at
€100 for 1,000 minutes.

who use the service often to
benefit from lower prices per
minute of their trip.
