The expected specications of the premises are as follows: 1. The building is covered with the relevant Planning Authority (PA) permits and can be used as oces; 2. The building is fully compliant with PA permit drawings, conforms to local building regulations and standards and has all necessary permits required by all the relevant authorities; 3. Total usable oce space required is a minimum of 400 square meters, consisting of one board room, two meeting rooms, single and multi-occupancy oces and other oce amenities such as a reception, waiting area, kitchen facilities and a server room. The premises shall have sanitary facilities at each level; 4. The building is user friendly and provides accessibility on all levels; 5. The building is equipped with modern air conditioning facilities and preferably with a CAT6 passive network infrastructure including telephony; 6. The building has installed lift facilities if oce space is spread on more than one oor and/or is not at street level. Due consideration will be given to the state of completion of the building, which ideally should be ready to move into by not later than end of 2019. The MDB reserves the right to negotiate with the preferred candidate following an assessment of the property and an evaluation of the submissions received. The award criteria will be evaluated on a most economically advantageous basis. Interested parties are asked to submit the following documentation: (a) A description of the premises, including the exact location, a minimum of 2 photos of the façade and a minimum of 5 photos of the internal area; (b) The total area of internal oce space including board room and meeting rooms; (c) The total area of garage/parking space if available; (d) Full-scale PA Permit Plans; (e) Full PA Permit certicates, including site plan; (f ) Asking Price for the premises, including garage space if available; (g) Details of any servitudes and any legal constraints which may have an impact on the functionality of the premises. The above information is to be addressed to the Chief Executive Ocer in a sealed envelope marked "Premises" and must be received by the MDB at Pope Pius V Street Valletta by (12:00hrs) noon of Monday, 23th September 2019. The right is reserved to reject any of the submissions made. The MDB also reserves the right not to proceed further with this call for proposals and not to enter into any convenium. All material submitted becomes the property of the MDB. The traditional dish returned to restaurants and homes as the lam- puki fishing season opened around mid-August. While in recent years fishermen had already raised concern over low yields during the dolphin fish season, 2019 has been a contrast to the norm. Compared to previous years, the start of the season has seen a large catch of smaller-sized lampuki, whose over-supply has dragged down prices. It is usual that at the start of the season, the first catches of lampuki are on the smaller side, with buy- ers preferring to wait for the larger stocks of mature fish. The prices of the first catches tend to be on the high side before normalising. But inquiries with fish shops by MaltaToday show that although prices will vary according to the day's catch, smaller-sized lampuki are being sold at prices ranging from €3.50 to €4.50 a kilo, while larger lampuki are being sold around €7.00 to €8.50 a kilo.
