TUESDAY Gold Rush – NEW Season [Documentary] 9pm on Discovery Channel (Channel 400) Living off the grid in the brutal wilderness of Yukon, a group of ambitious miners are in serious pursuit of gold. With new miners, new claims, new machines and new ways to pull gold out of the ground, the stakes are higher than ever. But will big risks lead to a bigger payout? The teams have huge, brand new machines, which help them achieve the largest goals ever seen on the show. The challenges that lie ahead are numerous, with the team having to work punishing hours around the clock, to keep the machinery in working order. Their success or failure depends on the friendships that they are able to forge within the community, if they are to stand a chance at all of striking gold. WEDNESDAY 50 First Dates (2004) [Comedy Drama] 9pm on Melita More (Channel 315) Henry Roth (Adam Sandler) lives in a Hawaiian paradise with the company of endless women with no strings attached. This is until he meets Lucy Whitmore (Drew Barrymore). Both Henry and Lucy enjoy the company of each other and feel the start of a serious relationship occurring. Approaching Lucy the next day, Henry is confused when Lucy fails to recognise him. This is the moment Henry discovers that Lucy actually suffers from short-term memory loss and can't remember each individual day. Henry won't let this stop him and is prepared to make her fall in love with him all over again, each and every day. THURSDAY Badlanders (1992) [Film] 9.30pm on AMC Channel (Channel 312) In the year 2200 Earth is under the dictatorship of an evil king, with only a band of intrepid rebels to oppose him.
