It showcases the latest trends and innova- tions in the catering industry by Malta's leading suppliers. Pur- chasing managers, F&B manag- ers, chefs, restaurateurs and all major players within the Horeca industry visit the event to see the latest innovations within the catering world. This all happens in conjunction with the Malta Kulinarja, a chef 's competition extravaganza that has over 200 leading professionals battling out to win Malta's prestigious culinary awards. Malta Kulinar- ja is held under the auspices of WACS, thereby necessitating the presence of international judges to officiate the event, together with the Malta Chef 's Society. For more information please visit www.mfcc.com.mt 26 JANUARY Open Day at Borg in-Nadur On Sunday, 26 January, Herit- age Malta is inviting the public to an Open Day which will be held at the prehistoric site of Borġ in-Nadur in Birżebbuġa. Admis- sion will be free of charge. The landscape of Birżebbuġa has always intrigued archaeol- ogists, due to its richness in ar- chaelogical remains and sites, including Għar Dalam and the Roman villa at Ta' Kaċċatura. Around 500m away from Għar Dalam, situated high between two valleys and overlooking St George's Bay, one finds also the megalitihic site of Borġ in-Na- dur. The public can learn more about this site during a number of guided tours which are being organised during the day. At 10am and 2pm, the guided tour will be in Maltese, where- as at noon and at 16.00hrs, the guided tour will be in English. A maximum of 25 persons can join each tour. Music TODAY Chinese New Year Concert The Chinese New Year Con- cert is one of the numerous Chinese New Year celebration events taking place in more than 100 countries in January 2020. Featuring typical Chinese tra- ditional instruments and music by Chinese composers, the event sets an example of cultural com- munication and presents an ideal opportunity for audiences to ap- preciate Chinese music and cul- ture.
