27.02.2020 8 TRENDSETTING IF you're finding it overwhelming to plan a big event, a new online service has got you covered. Evently, which bills itself a a one-of- a-kind event service finder, is an online platform which allows users to quickly and easily find and book event suppli- ers such as venues, caterers, audi/video, entertainment and more for upcoming events. e service brings potential custom- ers to their suppliers' doorstep, acting as a match-maker by matching the re- quirements of users and putting them in direct contact with suppliers that can truly help them based on budget, availa- bility and any other specific criteria. Evently.com.mt started as a platform for planning company events, receiving hundreds of requests from businesses over a period of eight months. e Evently team, however, quickly noticed that non-company users at- tempted to submit requests for their personal events, such as birthday par- ties, graduation parties and anniversa- ries and more even though the platform was started to cater for company events. In light of this, the platform was ex- tended to also cover personal events, ranging from baby showers, to hen and bachelor parties and Christmas celebra- tions Whilst targeting a new segment in the market, the platform continued to of- fer the same broad range of functions, promising to remain 100% free for us- ers, and to match users with three to five suppliers depending on their re- quirements. e service allows customers to book suppliers directly, and prices do not in- clude any commission or mark-ups. e Evently team promises to re- search, vet and quality-control every single supplier available through the platform, in order to ensure that all sup- pliers deliver a professional service that exceeds clients' expectations. Evently, Malta's first event service finder
