This joyous song is sung by Jessika Muscat and Avner Vella, was composed by Chan Vella with lyrics written by Alexia Vella Schembri. The theme of the song is that there is no greater friend than a book. Mikiel is the mascot that promotes reading during the Reading Ambassadors ac- tivities. During the activity, the reading ambassadors Jessika Muscat, Rowen Muscat, and Gilbert Agius read stories to the Years One, Two and Four pupils and then participated in a Q&A ses- sion with all the students. The activity came to an end with Jessika singing the song, accompanied by the young pupil Avner Vella and 'Mikiel' himself. Pupils also had the opportunity to sing along to the song through the lyric video that was pro- duced for this song by Amii Camilleri u Dorian Fenech. This song captures the principal aim of the Reading Ambassadors initiative, which is to encourage more children to read and consider reading an en- riching and fun experience. The song and video may be viewed in the Agency YouTube channel 'L-Aġenzija Nazzjonali tal-Litteriżmu'. Priscilla Spiteri National Literacy Agency LifeCycle Challenge 2020 in Chile
