It follows newly qualified midwife Jenny, who joins an eccentric, lovable community of nuns who are nurses at Nonnatus House. Jenny is surprised to find herself at a convent – she thought she was being sent to a small private hospital – and is initially daunted by her surroundings, most notably the formidable Sister Evangelina and the unconventional Sister Monica Joan. But Jenny gradually begins to find her way and develops incredible friendships. MONDAY Gold Rush: Dave Turin's Lost Mine [Documentary] 9pm on Discovery Channel (Channel 400) Veteran miner, Dave Turin, is an expert gold hunter. He has spent years working alongside Todd Hoffman, earning the nickname 'Dozer Dave' after relentlessly bulldozing for gold. Now, after two years out of the game, he's using his expertise and the back- ing of financiers to help families who want to resurrect their failing mines and turn a profit. In this series he crosses the USA, from north to south, on a mission to prospect multiple lost and aban- doned sites, hoping to find the one that will make a fortune. From the Yukon to the Nevada Desert, Dave meets people with the most incredible stories, and they all have one thing in common: no matter how tough the conditions. TUESDAY Punch-Drunk Love (2002) [Film] 8:35pm on AMC Channel (Channel 312) TA dark comedy centering around Barry Egan, the socially impaired owner of a small business-distrib- uting novelty toilet plungers-in the San Fernando Valley. Dominated by seven sisters, and constantly negotiating his own manhood, he is unlikely to find romance unless romance finds him. In an attempt to resolve his loneliness, while having a vulnerable moment, Barry contacts a phone sex operator who, in turn threatens him with blackmail. WEDNESDAY Mr Selfridge S1 Ep.8 [Drama Series] 9:30pm on AMC Channel (Channel 312) Returning from Germany, Selfridge finds his reputation in tatters and the store losing busi- ness. Delphine helps by arranging a visit to the store by Hollywood stars and producer Mack Sennett. Agnes, whose brother is missing in action, asks Selfridge to help Leclair by finding the mysterious woman he was looking for, and Selfridge asks a favour from his government contact. THURSDAY PLL The Perfectionists S1 Ep.8 "Hook, Line and Booker" [NEW Drama Series] 8:45pm on Melita More (Channel 315) Mona, Ali, and the Perfectionists concoct a plan to turn the tables on Dana Booker. Ali and Mona separately try to deduce how much they can trust Taylor as part of their team. Caitlin is left reeling when she finds out Jeremy may be keeping secrets of his own. FRIDAY Target Earth [Documentary] 10pm on History (Channel 412) Electromagnetic explosions, devastating climate change, mys- terious diseases... But perhaps the natural disasters carving a deadly path across the globe are not the biggest threat to life as we know it. On 'Target Earth', a 2-hour special, scientists, government officials and other experts examine earth's infrastructures and life-support systems to theorize how humans would fare in an alien attack. See what they think would happen if extra terrestrial invaders targeted the earth's natural resources, tele- communications, food and water supplies, weapons. SATURDAY Unfinished Business (2015) [Film] 9:50pm on AMC Channel (Channel 312) Tired of playing second-fiddle to his obnoxious boss, businessman Dan Trunkman quits and forms his own competing mineral sales firm. He takes a retiring associate and a dim-witted sales applicant with him. After a year and a half of struggle, a promising deal is in sight – then promptly folds, thanks to Dan's ex-boss. Determined to save the deal, Dan and company fly to Germany, where a series of outrageous obstacles awaits. It was released on Net flix on Februar y 26, 2020. The show has received positive reviews from critics. A teenager navigates the complexities of high school, family and her sexualit y while dealing with new superpowers that are triggered by fear and rage. Destiny Turns on the Radio Amazon Prime After Destiny rescues him from prison, Julian searches for his girlfriend and the loot from his heist. He soon finds out that Destiny has stolen his loot and his future lies in Destiny's hands. Destiny Turns on the Radio is a 1995 American comedy film directed by Jack Baran. It was the film debut of David Cross, appearing in a supporting role. This was the first feature film produced by Rysher Entertainment, a company better known for their television productions.
