The ride-pool- ing company is committed to support the efforts carried out by many volunteers around the island to alleviate the chal- lenges that faced by the most vulnerable amongst us. In order to enhance the safe- ty of its clients and employ- ees, Cool is still operational 24/7, but it is implementing a one-passenger policy at no ex- tra costs to clients. Customers can now travel to their desti- nations without sharing their ride while benefiting from the same low rates. The company recommends its clients to al- ways sit at the back and open windows during the ride. Ve- hicles are sanitized and disin- fected frequently. Cool has also launched a delivery service, in support of those businesses who due to current restrictions, need to deliver products to their cus- tomers or are experiencing a higher demand, therefore re- quiring assistance to deliver in a timely manner. Same-day deliveries are of- fered through an easy-to-use platform that allows mer- chants to book a delivery in just seconds. Interested par- ties may contact business@ cool.mt for more information. The company appreciates the immense efforts and the strong sense of solidarity shown by the hundreds of volunteers who are supporting the 111 helpline and providing them with free rides to help facilitate their show of solidarity. Cool, which is part of Debono Group, has been helping the elderly community in Zebbug with regard to deliveries, but it is committed to strengthen its social role in the community in this time of need. Cool is calling all volunteers and vulnerable persons who need transportation and deliv- ery assistance to get in touch with it so that the company will assist in the best way pos- sible. You can get in touch with Cool on hello@cool.mt Laura Jasenaite, Cool CEO said: "These are testing times for all of us, but I am confident that we will emerge stronger. As a company deeply commit- ted to the community, we will continue supporting all those volunteers who are going out of their way to give something back to society. This is the time where we pull the rope together – in this way, the country emerges victorious".
