MONDAY Naked and Afraid: "Alone: Man Up or Bow Out" [Documentary] 9pm on Discovery Channel (Channel 400) Discovery Channel takes the ubiquitous survival show theme to the next level by stripping it to its bare essentials. Two complete strangers – a man and a woman – meet in a very unique way: They're stranded in a dangerous, desolate location, without food and water, and they're completely naked. Each episode follows the two as they attempt to survive on their own for 21 days, with nothing but one personal item each and the knowledge that the only prize is their pride and sense of accom- plishment. Because there is no other choice, the couple quickly get to know each other – and their surroundings – and hope that their instincts, survival skills and intestinal fortitude will serve them well. TUESDAY Modern Family – Season 11 [Comedy Series] 8pm on FOX Life HD (Channel 334) 'Modern Family' is a mockumen- tary family sitcom that follows the lives of Jay Pritchett and his family, who live in suburban Los Angeles. The show has been the recipient of universal critical acclaim throughout its earlier seasons and has a gigantic fan following. It has been the recipient of the Emmy Award for Outstanding Comedy Series five times in a row. 'Modern Family' has a total of 75 nominations to its name, and has always had a very consistent presence at the Golden Globe Awards.. THURSDAY Day of Wrath (2006) [Film] 9:45pm on AMC HD (Channel 336) A 16th Century Spanish sheriff presiding over a provincial city attempts to solve a gruesome series of murders in this period thriller. When a number of high-ranking nobles are found vi- ciously slaughtered with large let- ters carved into their chests, it's up to haggard-but-honest lawman Ruy de Mendoza (Christopher Lambert) to crack the case. As he gets ever closer to the elusive killer, however, it soon becomes obvious that there is much more at stake than Mendoza thought. FRIDAY The Good Doctor S1 Ep.4: "Pipes" [NEW Drama Series] 10pm on Melita More (Channel 315) Barb Allen, 22 weeks pregnant, and her husband arrive at St. Bonaven- ture, hoping the doctors can save their baby. A large non-cancerous tumour is growing on the fetus and must be removed in order to save his life. Despite the serious risks both to her and the baby, Barb in- sists on surgery. Meanwhile, Shaun and Claire are assigned a patient, Olivia, who has a boil in her genital area. However, when doctors attempt to drain it, a fibroid tumour is found to be wrapped around a nerve. The surgery to remove it will cut off all feeling in Olivia's genitals. Shaun comes up with a solution that allows her to keep feeling in her genital area. SATURDAY Expedition Unknown S6: "Atlantis of the Andes" [Documentary] 9pm Discovery Channel (Channel 400) The show follows archaeologist Josh Gates on a worldwide trip around the globe. In each episode he heads off on a journey and at- tempts to solve some of the world's most puzzling problems. In this episode, he dives into a mystery below the surface of Lake Titicaca in South America. Into the Night is a Belgian apocalyptic sci-fi drama thriller webseries created by Jason George, inspired by the Polish science fiction novel The Old A xolotl by Jacek Dukaj. It is the first original Belgian series to be produced by Net flix. Midsommar Amazon Prime A couple travel to Sweden to visit their friend's rural hometown for its fabled midsummer festival, but what begins as an idyllic retreat quickly devolves into an increasingly violent and bizarre ritual at the hands of a pagan cult. Midsommar is a 2019 folk horror film written and directed by Ari Aster and starring Florence Pugh, Jack Reynor, William Jackson Harper, Vilhelm Blomgren, Ellora Torchia, Archie Madekwe, and Will Poulter.
