maltatoday | SUNDAY • 7 JUNE 2020 12 Emirates offers flights to 29 cities and resumes transits through Dubai FOLLOWING the UAE Federal Government's announcement to lift restrictions on transit pas- sengers services, from 15 June Emirates will offer passenger services to 16 more cities on its Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, namely to Bahrain, Manches- ter, Zurich, Vienna, Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Dublin, New York JFK, Seoul, Kuala Lumpur, Sin- gapore, Jakarta, Taipei, Hong Kong, Perth and Brisbane. With travel restrictions re- maining in place in most coun- tries, customers are reminded to check entry and exit require- ments before their journeys. In addition, from 8 June Emirates will offer flights from Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad for travellers from Pakistan who wish to connect onwards to other Emirates destinations. With this latest announce- ment, Emirates will be offering flights for passengers on the back of its scheduled cargo op- erations from Dubai to 29 cit- ies, including existing flights to London Heathrow, Frankfurt, Paris, Milan, Madrid, Chicago, Toronto, Sydney, Melbourne and Manila (from 11 June). Customers can book to fly between destinations in the Asia Pacific and Europe or the Americas, with a convenient connection in Dubai, as long as they meet travel and im- migration entry requirements of their destination country. Working closely with the UAE authorities, Emirates continues to take a measured and phased approach to flight resumption and rebuilding connections be- tween Dubai and the world. Health and safety first Emirates has implemented a comprehensive set of measures at every step of the customer journey to ensure the safety of its customers and employ- ees on the ground and in the air, including the distribution of complimentary hygiene kits containing masks, gloves, hand sanitiser and antibacterial wipes to all customers. Travel restrictions Customers are reminded that travel restrictions remain in place, and travellers will only be accepted on flights if they comply with the eligibility and entry criteria requirements of their destination countries. COMMERCIAL Emirates announces more passenger flights taking network to 25 cities, resumption of network-wide connecting flights through its Dubai hub Atlas Insurance head office and all branches to re-open safely Atlas Insurance is ensuring that the highest levels of health and safety are upheld in its re-opened branches for both its employees and clients. ATLAS Insurance announces that from Monday 8 June 2020 its head office in Ta' Xbiex and all 10 branches will be open for clients. Atlas has branches in Birkirkara, Cospicua, Haz-Zeb- bug, Mosta, Paola, Rabat, San Gwann, SkyParks, St Paul's Bay and Ta' Xbiex. Branches are being re-opened following the positive develop- ments and the latest govern- ment health directives. Atlas is ensuring that the highest levels of health and safety are upheld for both its employees and cli- ents. In fact, visitors are encour- aged to follow safety meas- ures when entering the firm's branches, including wearing a face mask/shield at all times, using hand sanitizers provided on entering branches or offic- es, as well as waiting outside the branch at a safe distance of two meters between individu- als until called inside. "During the COVID-19 pan- demic, we kept up client ser- vice even though we had to close our branches for obvi- ous health reasons.
