MONDAY Killer Bees (2002) [Film] 6:25pm on AMC HD (Channel 336) Each and every year, the farmers in a certain Northwestern com- munity ship in thousand of honey bees to pollinate their crops. This year, alas, the bees have apparently become terrorists, buzzing relentlessly throughout the region and leaving a trail of death wherever they go. Sheriff Lyndon Hobbs (C. Thomas Howell) must overcome his own paralyzing fear of bees to save his community. TUESDAY Cosmos: Possible Worlds "Ladder to the Stars" [Documentary] 9:40pm on National Geographic (Channel 406) Neil deGrasse Tyson returns as host to translate more revela- tions of science into a lavish transporting experience, taking audiences on a series of spiritual voyages of exploration. The show reveals previously unchart- ed realms, including lost worlds, worlds yet to come, and the worlds that humans may one day inhabit. WEDNESDAY Richard Hammond's Big [Documentary] 9pm on Discovery Science (Channel 402) In the world of engineering, size can be everything. And this action-packed series is going supersized as iconic British mo- toring presenter and engineering enthusiast, Richard Hammond, embarks on a global adventure. From the UK to Germany to the US, he's on a mission to explore the world's biggest structures and machines, going behind- the-scenes to understand the science of 'big' – how engineers go about building, maintaining and using these superstructures. Each episode takes him to a new location and mega structure, where he meets the unsung heroes at the front line making them work and explores the sci- ence behind them with a series of experiments. From the world's longest underground railway tunnel to a cargo ship the size of four football pitches, Richard immerses himself in some truly huge examples of engineering genius in action. THURSDAY Crawlspace (1986) [Film] 9:30pm on AMC HD (Channel 336) Dr. Karl Gunther (Klaus Kinski) runs a boarding house for wom- en and prides himself on keeping it immaculate. Unfortunately for the residents, he also enjoys spying on them through the crawl spaces within the building – and then killing them, one by one. Among the lovely ladies in Gunther's house are Harriet (Barbara Whinnery), a sultry sec- retary, and Lori (Talia Balsam), a studious young woman. Will any of Gunther's tenants avoid falling victim to his methodical madness? FRIDAY Mom S5 Ep.12: "Push- Down Coffee and a Working Turn Signal" [Comedy Series] 9:30pm on Melita More (Channel 315) Christy's car dies on the way home from Patrick's house and Bonnie refuses to let Adam loan her money for a new vehicle so Christy turns to someone she knows in the car business for help. SATURDAY Suits S8 Ep.2: "Pecking Order" [Drama Series] 9:30pm Melita More (Channel 315) An old friend of Mike's comes knocking for help when 50 million dollars for a new business venture goes missing, meaning he might be accused of embezzlement. Harvey suspects that his busi- ness partner made the money disappear, but Robert fears he is too trusting of Mike's friend and secretly puts Samantha on the case as well. While the two lawyers bicker over the right strategy to find the guilty party, Donna enlists the help of Gretchen to find out who exactly Samantha is and whose team she is playing for. Sheila urges Louis to fight for managing partner, which brings to light Louis's concerns about their relationship dynamics. Meanwhile, Alex sets out to prove his worth for name partner by attempting to poach Gavin Andrews. What to watch this week Streaming picks Your guide to the best shows on streaming platforms Marriage Story Netflix Marriage Stor y is a 2019 drama film writ ten, directed, and produced by Noah Baumbach. It stars Scarlet t Johansson and Adam Driver, with Laura Dern, Alan Alda, Ray Liot ta, Julie Hager t y, and Merrit t Wever in suppor ting roles. The film follows a married couple, an actress and a stage director (Johansson and Driver), going through a coast-to- coast divorce. Marriage Stor y was praised for Baumbach's screenplay, the per formances of Johansson, Driver and Dern, and Randy Newman's musical score. Crawl Amazon Prime Crawl is a 2019 American disaster horror film directed by Alexandre Aja and written by Michael and Shawn Rasmussen. It stars Kaya Scodelario and Barry Pepper as a daughter and father, who along with their dog are hunted by alligators after becoming trapped in their home during a Category 5 hurricane. The film was announced in May 2018, with Sam Raimi producing through his Raimi Productions banner, and Aja attached as director.
