The proceeds of the bond issue will be used for the con- struction of the Shoreline Mall project. Shoreline Mall p.l.c. is a limit- ed liability company registered in Malta. The principal activity of the Issuer is the acquisition and disposal and/or development and operation of the various immovable properties within and constituting The Shoreline Mall Complex. With sprawling views of the Mediterranean Sea, The Shore- line Mall Complex is currently the largest project of its kind being developed in the South of Malta. A mixed-used development, it consists of a total gross ar- ea of approximately 25,000 sqm spread on two floors that includes 44 separate outlets, several pop-up retail spaces, as well as a food court. Designed by one of Europe's leading retail architectural firms Haskoll, the mall will of- fer customers an eclectic mix of retail, leisure, catering and entertainment in a clean and car-free setting. The complex also features three levels of underground parking with a total of 848 parking spaces open to the public. Additionally, the Shoreline Residence project, undertaken by Shoreline Residence Limit- ed, a related entity within the Shoreline Group of companies, features a choice of residen- tial units offering luxury ac- commodation and community amenities such as restaurants, a spa and swimming pool on the water's edge. It will now be hosting its first we- binar on 6 July with Prof Bas Bloem, who has dedicated his life to PD and research. He is renowned around the world for his work and is fighting the pandemic of Parkinson's disease that the world is facing. Bloem received his medical degree, with honours, in Leiden in 1993 and obtained his PhD degree in 1994. He trained as a neurologist in Leiden. He received additional movement dis- orders training at The Parkinson's Institute, California and Institute of Neurology, Queen Square, London. In 2008, he was appointed Professor of Movement Disorder Neurology at Radboudumc, Nijmegen. Bloem founded and directs the Centre of Expertise for Parkinson & Movement Disorders, which is rec- ognised as centre of excellence by the Parkinson's Foundation. Bloem's research interests are cer- ebral compensation and healthcare innovation, aiming to evaluate pa- tient-centred collaborative care. Blo- em is Officer (Secretary) for the In- ternational Parkinson and Movement Disorder Society and serves on the Executive Scientific Advisory Board of The Michael J Fox Foundation. In 2018, he was elected as member of the Royal Holland Society of Scienc- es and Humanities and as member of the Academia Europaea. In 2018, he won the Tom Isaacs award. In 2019, he was elected as Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh. In 2020, Bloem became co-Editor in Chief of the Journal of Parkinson's Disease.
