"As a council, having already implemented all necessary measures for Esplora to open its doors on the 9th of June as soon as the Government gave its go ahead, the Centre is now ready for a new normality". This was announced by the Ex- ecutive Chairman for the Malta Council for Science and Tech- nology, Dr. Jeffrey Pullicino Orlando. He stated that "as Malta suc- cessfully and cautiously con- tinues to lift COVID-19 related measures, Esplora visitors are now encouraged to experience what Esplora has to offer whilst following guidelines issued by theHealth Authorities at all times." Esplora's opening of all ex- hibition areas coincides with the Summer opening hours. We would like to encourage our patrons to visit Esplora and take advantage of an expe- rience which is spread over a vast area of 22,000 m2. Visitors can enjoy hands-on, interactive experiences with over 200 ex- hibits. They can join one of our intriguing science shows and immerse themselves in a plan- etarium film. Furthermore, the public can gradually restart enjoy- ing specific events, namely, the monthly Autism-Friend- ly Hours, Seniors-Friendly Events, Digital Science Quests, Paranormal Trails and Esplo- ra Afterhours in the coming months. To make their day complete, visitors can stop for a delicious meal at the EsploraCafé and take home a memento from the EsploraShop! Tickets may be purchased once again at the door from the Esplora Reception to gain access to a a safe and fun en- vironment where people are encouraged to Explore, Think and Imagine.
