More than 15,000 geometric and animal-like patterns have been discovered criss-crossing the pampas like a vast puzzle. Who built them and what was their purpose? Ancient racetracks, landing strips for aliens, or perhaps a giant astronomical calendar? And are the Lines connected to the gruesome discovery of large cache's of severed human heads. Now, after decades of misunderstanding, modern archaeology may finally have the answer. Through the use of DNA analysis, 3D scanners, and NASA aerial radar, an expert team of scientists unveils the mysterious world of the Nasca. MONDAY Through the Wormhole… "Is there a Shadow Universe?" [Documentary] 9:50pm on Discovery Science (Channel 402) When we look up into the sky it appears we live in a universe that is filled with light. But scientists are now certain there is far more matter in the dark portions of our universe that we can't see or touch. There's something hiding in the shadows. Cosmologists agree that "dark matter" has helped shape our Universe, but now they need to figure out what dark matter is. What's going on in this hidden world? Could it have formed its own dark stars, planets, and even life forms? Could this Shadow Universe threaten our world of light? TUESDAY Clerks (1994) [Film] 8pm on AMC HD (Channel 336) Dante (Brian O'Halloran) is called in to cover a shift at his New Jersey convenience store on his day off. His friend Randal (Jeff Anderson) helps him pass the time, neglecting his video-store customers next door to hang out in the Quick Stop. The uneventful day is disrupted by news that one of Dante's ex-girlfriends has died. After attending her memorial ser- vice, Dante muses over staying with current girlfriend Veronica (Marilyn Ghigliotti) or reuniting with ex Caitlin (Lisa Spoonhauer). WEDNESDAY Freejack (1992) [Film] 8pm on AMC HD (Channel 336) Early in the 21st century, tech- nological advances have made it possible for aging, wealthy peo- ple to pay crooks like Vacendak (Mick Jagger) to go back in time, kidnap young victims like race car driver Alex Furlong (Emilio Estevez) and deliver them to the elderly clients, who then have their brains transplanted into the healthy bodies. Furlong manages to break free from his captors, but as a fugitive, he finds that the world of the future is a bleak, dangerous place. THURSDAY The Apocalypse (2007) [Film] 8:05pm on Sony Movies Action (Channel 317) A large, colossal asteroid the size of Texas (roughly 600 miles (970 km) in diameter) is heading towards the Earth, and threatens to wipe out the human race in a manner similar to the extinction of the dinosaurs. Whilst the Earth begins a series of efforts to divert and later destroy the aster- oid, two parents – Jason (Rhett Giles) and Ashley (Jill Stapley) – search for their missing child, who is in Los Angeles, while attempting to overcome various catastrophes somehow triggered by the arrival of the meteorite. FRIDAY Mom S5 Ep.17: "Crazy Snakes and Clog to the Head" [Comedy Series] 9:30pm on Melita More (Channel 315) When Christy and the group hold a meeting at a women's prison, Bonnie gets attacked by a woman named Tammy (Kristen Johnston). Soon she realizes Tammy was a foster sister in her past, when they were both teenagers. It is revealed that Tammy holds a grudge, saying that Bonnie ruined her life by getting her kicked out of her only decent foster home. SATURDAY Alone in the Dark 2 (2008) [Film] 9:20pm AMC HD (Channel 336) Alone in the Dark II is a 2008 Ger- man-American horror film directed by Peter Scheerer and Michael Roesch and starring Rick Yune, Ra- chel Specter and Lance Henriksen. It is a sequel to Uwe Boll's 2005 film Alone in the Dark, although it features an entirely new cast and a story that is unrelated to the original film Alone in the Dark II was filmed in New York. Seeing the neighboring countr y become more and more power ful, a warlord organizes a competition to reveal the best warriors. Hearing the news, Dong Yilong, a valiant young villager decides to take up the challenge despite the doubts of his village. So begins the journey. Radioactive Amazon Prime After the death of her beloved husband, Marie Curie's commitment to science remains strong as she tries to explain previously unknown radioactive elements. But it soon becomes terrifyingly evident that her work could lead to applications in medicine that could save thousands of lives -- or applications in warfare that could destroy them by the billions. Radioactive is a 2019 British biographical drama film directed by Marjane Satrapi and starring Rosamund Pike as Maria Skłodowska-Curie. The film is based on the graphic novel by Lauren Redniss.
