Ending his successful tenure four years ex- actly to the day it began, Motschen- bacher moves on to the position of Vice President, Base Maintenance Production EUMEA/Americas. Mahon is no stranger to the Mal- ta facility having spent seven years there at one point in time holding the senior posts of Head of Process Improvement and Executive Head of Operation simultaneously. Mahon returns to Lufthansa Tech- nik Malta following a three-year engagement as Senior Director Air- craft Overhaul at Ameco Beijing, which is part of the international network of Lufthansa Technik. BNF credit cards go contactless Chamber of Advocates elects new council New CEO for Lufthansa Technik Malta John Mahon (inset) replaces Marcus Motschenbacher as CEO of Lufthansa Technik Malta THE newly-elected Council of the Chamber of Advocates yesterday convened for a first meeting, during which the Electoral Commissioner, Dr Philip Manduca, presented his report detailing the results of the elections held last week. Dr Manduca invited the Council to nominate a member to occupy the role of President of the Chamber for the next term. Vassallo Joiners entrusted with new timber lantern for The St John's Co Cathedral Foundation VASSALLO Joiners, which forms part of Vassallo Builders, was recently entrusted by e St John's Co-Cathedral Founda- tion, with the replacement of the 75 year old timber lantern. e purpose of this lantern is to shed natural light onto the Oratory which holds the very prestigious Caravaggio painting of the beheading of St John the Baptist. e new, solid Iroko lantern, which is an exact replica of the old one, was installed last week and required an approximate 4 hour operation at the very early hours of the morning in order to avoid road distri- butions and to make sure they adhered to all health, safety and security regulations.
