CULTURE
forces in a novel campaign
theaters were closed as a preventive
measure against the coronavirus, long
after the museums in Romania had reo-
pened. Their talent, creativity and ded-
ication made this campaign a success.
Each week the public was surprised
with a new amazing interpretation.
The "Frame these Artists" campaign
gave online visitors the opportunity to
enjoy, share and stay connected with
and through art. For those who do not
follow us online, we will soon have an
actual exhibition with all 16 reenact-
ments, hosted both by the museum and
the Nottara Theatre." said Cristina Ve-
rona Tobi, interim manager at the Na-
tional Museum of Art of Romania.
All 16 actors did a fantastic job at be-
coming still works of art, but some of
them really went the extra mile, from
taking many hours just to prepare the
'set and props', to sewing their own
outfits when they couldn't find some-
thing similar ready-made, to shaving
their heads to resemble their characters
more or to creating their own work of
art in the form of a painting that served
as the background for the photo, similar
to the one in the original painting. You
