maltatoday | SUNDAY • 20 SEPTEMBER 2020 13 COMMERCIAL THE first ever event in aid of Victory Kitchen successfully raised over €35,000. Rafel Sammut, founder of Victory Kitch- en, organised a swim to raise funds that will enable the organ- isation to keep supporting the many Maltese individuals and families that are in need. The event was held on Thursday, 10th of September 2020. It was postponed from Monday 7th September due to unfavourable weather conditions. Rafel, together with Clyde Bonello, swam a total distance of 15km; leaving from Ċirkewwa at 6am and swimming all the way to Dingli Cliffs. Victory Kitchen hopes that this event helps raise aware- ness about their mission, encouraging the public to assist them to continue feeding more people in need. Rafel said "I would like to thank everyone who supported us to date. Since March 2020 we have helped feed 19,757 people and 6,952 families. But there is much more to be done. Thanks to our supporters and the public, we can now continue doing this work." The public can help Victory Kitchen support more fam- ilies by sending donations via Revolut on +356 99441950 or +356 79796171. Alternatively, donations can be sent through BOV mobile on +356 99906056. One must include the tag 'Support Victory Kitchen' when making the dona- tion. Swim for charity raises over €35,000 for families in need FOLLOWING the success of its First Time Buyer package, Frank Salt Real Estate is introducing another mega offer – this time aimed at clients who sell their home and buy their second property – or vice versa - through the agency. If you already own a home, the premise of buying another house can be pretty daunting. Should you sell your home first and rent out elsewhere (or live with relatives) while looking for another? Or do you buy now and foot the bill for two mortgage payments until you're able to sell? Can you time it perfect- ly and do both at once? While this is no easy feat, the team at Frank Salt Real Estate is totally dedicated to helping such clients navigate through this scenario, whilst helping them find the new property as well as a buyer for their current home. And if the agency's industry experience and reputation is not enough, the company is also throwing in a great offer. The offer can be availed from by Frank Salt Real Estate clients who sell and purchase another property through the agency within a period of 12 months. Through this offer, clients would benefit from a refund of €500 on the notary fees, a free Energy Per- formance up to a value of €250, and 50% off the first year of home insur- ance on the new property. Further- more, the agency has negotiated dis- counts of up to 35% from renowned suppliers Carmelo Delia, Dino Fino, Elektra and Vella Falzon Home. "Frank Salt Real Estate has built up a very loyal client base over the years. We also know that once you've developed a relationship with your agent on selling your home, it is so much easier for them to understand what you are look- ing to buy next and to help you find it. Through this great second time buyer programme, we want to give something back to our clients be- sides our best service", said compa- ny director Grahame Salt. The offer runs for a limited time period and is subject to terms and conditions.
