woes
A Marsh Harrier (Bagħdan Aħmar) was
recovered by officers of the Environment
Resources Authroity in Mellieha this week.
BirdLife Malta believes that, in the case of
illegal hunting, Malta could be facing ots
worst year since 2013. Although it is still the
beginning of October, it has already retrieved
more illegally-shot protected birds than in
the last eight years. By Friday, 152 protected
birds had been retrieved after being shot by
hunters.
