Every year since I am in Malta. Something special to share about your show for this year's festival: A movie with superheroes who sing and fight to discover their super powers. What else? A short message to this year's kids: Hey! what superhero would you like to be? what would your super power be? Finally if you could give your 10-year-old self a few words of advice what would they be: Never forget the power of a dream VIKESH GODHWANI Director of Fa2b Fantasy Fables Name and Nickname growing up: Vikesh. I've heard so many versions of my name growing up but my favourite has to be my "Maltese" name given to me by a great friend of mine, which is "Victor Grech il- Kesh". What do you do (job): Freelance theatre director, writer and producer, and Co-Ar- tistic Director of Chalk Line Theatre Com- pany. Favourite hobby: Going to the theatre, but that doesn't really count as it is part of my job. So I'd say watching a good film whether it's at the cinema or curled up on the sofa with a glass of wine and popcorn. Favourite food: Fried chicken (whichever the cuisine), samosas (the ones my mum makes) and something sweet to complete a meal every time. Are you a cat or dog person: Dog Favourite ice cream flavour: Salted Cara- mel How many ZiguZajg Festivals have you participated in: Three - Once as a festival assistant, once as a performer and this time as a writer/director! Something special to share about your show for this year's festival: It's hard to choose just one thing but just seeing Chucky completely immersing himself into this process every step of the way and com- pletely going for it is awe-inspiring. I am so proud of him and can't wait for people to discover even more of his talents through this show! On a more superficial level, there's magic. A short message to this year's kids: Your brain is a magical place full of wonderful ideas. Don't let anyone keep you from ex- pressing yourself in whatever fun or whacky way you want to! Let your imagination run wild as you approach the tasks we give you at the end of every episode and most im- portantly enjoy every minute. I can't wait to read all of your stories! Finally if you could give your 10-year-old self a few words of advice what would they be: Exam grades, prizes and praise don't de- fine you. Find joy in simpler things. People will forget how much you got in a random Maths exam but they will always remember how you made them feel. Always be kind. NICOLE CUSCHIERI Director of The Stage Door Name and Nickname growing up: I never had one What do you do (job): I wear many cre- ative hats! I love taking on different chal- lenges which also keeps life interesting! I sometimes create theatre, sometimes films, sometimes crazy costumes and weird props! But I have to say that I am blessed to be able to maintain a career from creating whatever is in my head. Favourite hobby: Cuddling up on the sofa watching a good movie with my dogs and cat Favourite food: Carrots! I eat them by the dozen! Are you a cat or dog person: Both :) Favourite ice cream flavour: Mango! How many ZiguZajg Festivals have you participated in: This is my 4th project and by far my favourite one so far! Though the other three were super fun too! Something special to share about your show for this year's festival: No matter how disheartened you may feel, never stop ful- filling your creative potential! A short message to this year's kids: This has been a tough year for us, but with every challenge comes a valuable lesson and a re- minder to never take the things that matter for granted. This challenge has helped me to adapt my ideas in order to remain cre- ative, so do your utmost to do the same! I hope our program will help you to do that! My ten year old self would have never believed I could achieve as much as I have already! And there is plenty more to come!
