Moreover, throughout Decem- ber, Heritage Malta's Multisite Ticket and Family Pass may be purchased at a 50% discount. MUŻA's opening hours will be extended until 9pm on 11, 12 and 13 December, so that during the festive season vis- itors will have more time to appreciate the works of art that this museum in our capital city is endowed with. During December, the Multisite Ticket and the Family Pass will be sold at half the usu- al price and can be purchased at €25 for adults; €19 for senior citizens, students and conces- sions; and €12.50 for children. The price for the Family Pass (two adults and two children aged 6 - 17 years) during De- cember will be €55 only instead of €110. All visits to Heritage Malta sites and museums are con- ducted in strict adherence to Public Health regulations re- lated to the Covid-19 pandem- ic. The following is the full list of Heritage Malta museums and sites which will be open in De- cember. Ħal Saflieni Hypoge- um: Open Monday to Sunday from 9am to 5pm. Last minute tickets for the Hypogeum can only be purchased on site. From Thursday to Sunday, the following museums and sites will be open from 10am to 4.30pm: Fort St Elmo and the National War Museum; The National Museum of Archae- ology; MUŻA (opening hours extended till 9pm on 11, 12 and 13 December); The Palace Armoury; Fort St Angelo; St Paul's Catacombs; Ħaġar Qim and Mnajdra Temples; Sko- rba and Ta' Ħaġrat Temples; Ġgantija Temples; and Ta' Kola Windmill. On Tuesdays, Satur- days and Sundays, the follow- ing museums and sites will be open from 10.00 to 16.30hrs: Għar Dalam and Borġ in-Na- dur; Domvs Romana; Inquisi- tor's Palace; Tarxien Temples; Citadel Museums and Visitor Centre. The following museums and sites are currently closed due to ongoing projects: Ta' Bistra Catacombs; Fortress Builders Interpretation Centre; The Malta Maritime Museum; The Palace State Rooms; and The National Museum of Natural History. Hypogeum visitors to receive gift vouchers during December GIFT vouchers will be given to all visitors at Ħal Saflieni Hypo- geum during December. Heritage Malta's Chief Execu- tive Officer, Noel Zammit, said that the Hypogeum only al- lows a small number of visitors every hour, with a maximum of eight tours every day. "In normal circumstances one must book a visit weeks or even months in advance. Currently it is easier to visit and to take the opportunity to become bet- ter acquainted with this unique part of our heritage," he said. "Heritage Malta has therefore come up with the initiative to enhance accessibility to this site while increasing the value of the visit through gift vouch- ers for every visitor." Visitors who are Heritage Malta members will be given a €20 voucher; adult visitors will receive a €15 voucher; students and senior citizens will get a €10 voucher; children will be given a €5 voucher; and visitors buying last minute tickets will be given a €15 voucher. Vouchers may be redeemed until the end of March 2021 at all Heritage Malta gift shops at sites and museums. Vouch- ers cannot be redeemed at the Heritage Malta online shop. During December, the Ħal Saflieni Hypogeum will be open from Monday to Sunday from 9am till 5pm. All visits are conducted in strict adherence to Public Health regulations related to the Covid-19 pan- demic.
