The event will provide an expert overview of the latest trends and themes in sustainable invest- ments. The medirectalk event will take place online, on 25th Feb- ruary 2021 at 18.00hrs and is free of charge. medirectalk is a series of seminars and webi- nars organised by MeDirect, featuring several financial ex- perts and asset managers shar- ing their views on market and investment opportunities. The upcoming medirectalk is organised by MeDirect Bank Malta, together with Lion- trust, a UK-based specialist fund management company that takes pride in having a distinct culture and approach to running money. Its purpose is to have a positive impact on its investors, stakeholders and society. The Liontrust Sustainable In- vestment team has been man- aging money for the past 20 years since it launched its Sus- tainable Future (SF) funds in 2001. The 13-strong team's distinct investment process combines negative and positive screening and identifying the key struc- tural growth trends that will shape the sustainable global economy of the future. Mike Appleby, Fund Manager with the Liontrust Sustainable Future Funds, will be the main speaker during the medirectalk webinar. He will be covering the aims and approaches to sustainable investment as well as focus on the demand and performance of sustainable investment funds. He will be also looking at var- ious themes that help investors find good investments, and will be covering the topic of climate change and how it is impacting the market and investment op- portunities. Mike Appleby moved to Lion- trust in April 2017 with the ac- quisition of ATI. Mike started his career in the investment in- dustry in 1992. He joined Aviva Investors in 2004 as a Research Analyst. He was a Fund Man- ager from 2006 to 2010 and was then appointed as Head of Social Responsible Investment Thematic Research. Takashi Murakami is the latest artist to have fun restyling the iconic and vibrant Perrier brand Get ready for the much-awaited Red Bull Full Moon 2021 Red Bull has teamed up with the Maltese Street Sport As- sociation (MSSA) to organise various street sport competi- tions during their full moon specials throughout the year! The first event, which will take place on the 27th of Feb- ruary at a secret location in Malta, will bring a Game of BIKE (BMX), SKATE (Skate- boarding) and SCOOT (scoot- er). Two athletes from each sport will be picked to go head-to- head on a special course set- up made specifically for this event. This will be one of the first of many events that are planned by the MSSA this year. "Street sport lovers should get excited for what's in-store for them this year," said Karl Naja, from the MSSA.
