She opens up her heart into this diary, while telling him all that goes on in her mind and her life. The intrigue starts when her boyfriend Mikas was shot three times and after a couple of days he dies. 40 days of mental tension that Sandra experienced, writ- ten down in her diary, stating the facts her own way. At the same time, the Police Com- missioner is doing his utmost to solve Mikas' case as well as other related cases … Heritage Malta acts on employee's idea for a greener environment HERITAGE Malta is acting on an employee's idea and launch- ing an initiative whereby mem- bers of staff propagate seeds of trees and shrubs in their own homes and take care of them un- til they are ready to be planted at Heritage Malta sites. "The idea was immediately taken on board since it inte- grates wholly with our mission to protect not only our cultur- al heritage but also our natural patrimony," said Noel Zammit, Heritage Malta Chief Execu- tive Officer. "This initiative is a means through which employ- ees engage in extracurricular activities which are of great benefit not only to the agency itself but also to our environ- ment." Heritage Malta's plant nurs- ery at Għar Dalam is lending it- self beautifully to this initiative by providing the seedlings to employees who are interested in this voluntary project. The trees and shrubs that will grow from these seedlings are all in- digenous. Since being notified of their colleague's suggestion, several employees have expressed in- terest in planting the seedlings at home and nurturing them for a year or two until they are ready to be handed back to the nursery, where they will be fur- ther taken care of before being planted at the respective sites. Although no gardening exper- tise is required and the seed- lings only need a sunny corner which shields them from wind and heavy rain, the nursery at Għar Dalam is also offering ad- vice regarding their care. Heritage Malta's plant nursery at Ghar Dalam is lending itself beautifully to this initiative by providing the seedlings to employees who are interested in this voluntary project. The trees and shrubs that will grow from these seedlings are all indigenous
