maltatoday | SUNDAY • 28 NOVEMBER 2021 16 COMMERCIAL THIS year, Absolut Vodka is inviting everyone to celebrate the world's expressive minds with the launch of a new lim- ited-edition bottle, Absolut Voices. Embodying the brand's core belief that the world becomes a better place when we mix to- gether beyond differences, Ab- solut Voices shakes things up by encouraging people to open up and (re-)connect - for more inspiring and memorable mo- ments. Bringing the brand's core be- lief to life, Absolut Voices liter- ally makes waves with a unique bottle design with illustrations of expanding soundwaves on a bottle containing 80% recycled glass. The new release is a cele- bration of the wavemakers and the trailblazers of the world. It is a powerful reminder of how bringing people from all walks of life closer can empower sim- ple ideas of love, unity, cele- brations and togetherness, to become something grander be- yond their closest circles. Looking through the sapphire blue glass, the premium spirit within is waiting to be unbot- tled, in which every ingredient is sourced from southern Swe- den. Every drop of water and every seed of wheat coming from one source, one village and one community. The lim- ited edition also features a cus- tom medallion in one of four vibrant colours. No matter where, or with whom, you're mixing in the world, you can connect with Absolut. "Celebrating diverse and dif- ferent viewpoints has always been in our spirit. From cham- pioning international artists and activists in the 80s, to our longstanding support of the LGBTQ+ community, includ- ing our collaboration with the Gilbert Baker Foundation, who are dedicated to the legacy of the Rainbow Flag's original crea- tor," Elin Furelid, Global Head of Absolut Portfolio & Design, said. "We're continuously inspired by the idea that the world be- comes a better place when we come together beyond differ- ences, share good times and empower one another. That spirit is what Absolut Voices is all about." So it's time to get in the cele- bratory spirit with the new lim- ited-edition, Absolut Voices. Follow @absolutvodka on In- stagram. Absolut launches new limited edition LOCAL design and architecture firm DAAA Haus has drawn up a propos- al for a cable car system connecting three points in grand Harbour and Marsamxett Harbour. The proposal is being billed as an- other sustainable mode of alternative transport idea adding economical value to the south of Malta. Keith Pillow, founder and creative director of the firm, said the idea is simple, feasible, sustainable and do- able. "It is something we have seen work- ing well in other great cities around the world and also in europe," he said. "The idea is to connect the three points of our Grand Harbour and Marsamxett Harbour with a cable car system. This mode of transport is green and efficient and can be used by everyone. It helps reduce the number of cars on our roads, espe- cially the huge influx of cars that are used every day by workers and stu- dents to commute between the south and our capital city and Sliema." Pillow said the proposal would al- so give scope for economic develop- ment in the south. "It makes the southeast coastline easily accessible to all for leisure, sports and fitness," he said. "It also gives a real scope of regen- eration of three forts, creating new leisure and community hubs in all of them - Fort Tigne, Fort St Elmo and Fort Ricasoli."
