The Awards, organised by Dynamic Events Ltd in collab- oration with the Malta Busi- ness Review, were announced during a gala award ceremony that took place on Friday 26 November. The organisers saluted Ms Vella's numerous achieve- ments in the sector, describing her as a "hard-working busi- ness woman" whose tactical sales and account management campaign add value to the cli- ent's revenue stream while maximising customer experi- ence despite the downturn in the travel industry. Rachel Vella, was also voted Woman of the Year 2021 by the Malta Business Review's Board of journalists, beating Deborah Schembri of STM Malta Pen- sion Services Limited. "I am truly overwhelmed and humbled to be given such pres- tigious titles, furthermore an honour for me to receive these awards and to represent ROCS Group. I look forward to con- tinuing the Group's journey from strength to strength as we plan new projects and new ex- pansions that will see us going through 2022. This has been possible thanks to the work ethic and foundations that have been instilled from with- in, and which have allowed us to build one of the best known and strongest brands in Malta," Ms Vella said. The event is Malta's most prestigious business awards program, with Malta's top leading industry names nom- inated for the tightly-fought contest that included CEO of Cassar Marine Group Andrea Cassar, BetConstruct Regional Director Malta Kristina Ham- bardzuminyan, La Vela Restau- rant owner Michelle Muscat and many others. THE fully electric EV6 has earned the coveted 'Crossover of the Year' title at the 2021 TopGear.com Awards. The EV6 impressed Top Gear's judges thanks to its style, dynamic per- formance & long electric range. Tom Ford, Associate Editor, commented: "With the EV6, Kia has gone all-in; wholly elec- tric, wild styling, class-leading charging, gadgets galore. It delves deeply into the con- cept of a mobile lounge, the EV6 pushes into the darker corners of making an EV in- teresting to drive. It's also spacious, nicely equipped and well-built. It cruises with all the best bits of EVs – quiet, smooth, calm – and then punts down a backroad with proper potential. A crossover in more than one sense, then. For the car, and the brand." The TopGear.com Awards ceremony is viewable at you- tube.com/topgear and topgear. com. The Kia EV6 is also fea- tured in the latest issue of BBC Top Gear Magazine, an awards issue dedicated to the best new cars in the world today. This latest accolade comes in the same week that Kia's EV6 was among the final seven cars shortlisted for the Europe- an Car of the Year 2022, and just one month since winning German Premium Car of the Year 2022. Jason Jeong, Presi- dent at Kia Europe comment- ed: "We are delighted to have won Crossover of the Year at the prestigious TopGear.com Awards. EV6 is a revolutionary vehicle for the Kia brand and for elec- tric mobility and this award is welcome recognition of that. It's another addition to the trophy cabinet for EV6, a mod- el which continues to grow in popularity as part of our evolv- ing electrified line-up." The EV6 is Kia's first dedi- cated electric car and shows the exciting potential of the company's new Electric-Global Modular Platform (E-GMP). The EV6 will soon be avail- able.
