MATTHEW VELLA
THE family of slain journalist Daphne
Caruana Galizia has penned a letter to the
Slovenian presidency of the EU, calling for
a stop to European funds that could finance
Malta's gas pipeline project.
Later today, Matthew Caruana Galizia
will be holding a joint conference with
two MEPs, Claudia Gamon and Marie
Toussaint, on the funds. Both MEPs are
shadow rapporteurs on the TEN-E file

arrested the victim, whilst he was
still in hospital, after receiving in-
formation that he had been trying
to solicit money in exchange for
changing his version of events in
the investigation.
Magistrate Monica Vella contin-
