maltatoday | SUNDAY • 9 JANUARY 2022 14 COMMERCIAL The all-new Renault Arkana THE all-new Arkana sports SUV looks like no other car in its class with its flowing lines and sleek coupé design. Sporty Arkana also retains its SUV roots with ample interior space and generous boot space. The R.S. line trim with the E-TECH Hybrid powertrain embodies the best of what Arkana has to offer. Sportiness embodied Sportiness is found in every details. The R.S. Line version draws inspiration from the world of motorsport and com- bines robustness and elegance with sporty elements such as the F1® style front splitter, the 18" Silverstone alloy wheels and the twin-exhaust pipe complementing the assertive SUV look. The premium cab- in of Arkana R.S. Line also ex- udes sportiness with a mixed leather-suede upholstery with red over-stitching.Behind the perforated leather steering wheel sits a carbon-look dash- board punctuated with a red stripe, with the seatbelts en- hanced by the same red stitch- ing as the seats. Plenty of space The all-new Arkana reinvents the class as a coupé with the space of a saloon. The 513 litre (480 litre on E-TECH hybrid) boot offers generous capacity and is easy to access with its large hatch door. Inside, there's plenty of space for everyone. At the rear, pas- sengers can enjoy plenty of headroom despite the sloping roofline of Arkana thanks to a clever orientation of the back seats designed to maximise space and comfort. Loaded with technology The characteristic C-shaped front and rear lights house 100% LED lights, while in- side sits a 7-inch horizontal or a 9.3-inch vertical touch- screen. The interior features several storage spaces, a wire- less smartphone charger* and a brand new 9-speaker Bose sound system. The multi sense system offers the driver a selec- tion between 4 driving modes as well as 8 ambient lighting colours for a personalised driv- ing experience. E-TECH hybrid powertrain, versatility and efficiency The efficient E-TECH hybrid system combines two electric motors with a petrol engine. The electric motors work to- gether with the petrol engine when you pull away, come to a standstill or when you need extra power in acceleration phases. The electric power is supplied by a small trac- tion battery which recharges through regenerative braking and is located under the back seats. The result: the support of electric power reduces fuel consumption from the petrol engine and enhances your driv- ing experience with improved responsiveness and silence when driving in full electric mode.
