To celebrate the start of 2022, the bank is offer- ing discounted rates on loans, cashback on new Advance and Premier accounts and discounts on life protection policies and investments. More specifically, HSBC Malta is offering a 5 per cent lifetime discount on Personal Protector Plan premiums and a 20 per cent discount on the initial fee applicable to mutual fund investments. The Bank is also offering interest rate dis- counts on its unsecured per- sonal loans, green loans, stu- dent loans and graduate loans. In addition to cashback, new Premier account and Advance account clients will receive additional benefits. These in- clude free Travel Insurance, a free Premier or Advance cred- it card with reward points, free Purchase Protection cov- er, free debit card withdrawals from HSBC and non-HSBC ATMs and double loyalty re- ward points for the first six months when using Premier MasterCard or Advance Visa Platinum card. Gregory Inglott, Chief Oper- ating Officer, Wealth and Per- sonal Banking at HSBC Malta, said: "A new year means new plans and opportunities. HS- BC is here with an extensive range of products designed to help customers fulfil their new year aspirations. In addition to offers and discounts on our products, HSBC's Financial Planning Advisors are also al- ways available to help our cli- ents revisit their finances and plan for their retirement, en- joy better returns on their sav- ings and investments, and look into ways to ensure that their loved ones are protected." Melita reaffirms commitment to community MELITA Limited has reaf- firmed its commitment to the community in 2022 and donat- ed more than €20,000 to vari- ous charities and NGOs. These include the Malta Community Chest Fund Foundation, Dar tal-Providenza, Puttinu Cares, ALS, Hospice Malta, Rich- mond Foundation and Inspire Malta. These donations were made outside of the ongoing work carried out by The Melita Foundation to which €500,000 has been allocated to support educational, heritage and envi- ronmental projects.
