The hour-long special Easter Sunday concert, presented by Teatru Manoel's learning and participation programme TOI TOI, will take audience mem- bers young and old on a fun musical journey through the decades. Starting from the era of swing music legends Glenn Miller and Benny Goodman, Malta's favourite Big Band will showcase how music has de- veloped into the pop tunes of present day. "TOI TOI: Big Band Brothers Easter Concert will be a great opportunity to experience an amazing band of top musicians and celebrate Easter in style with the family," says Teatru Manoel CEO Massimo Zam- mit. "This fun-packed, one-off show will make Easter this year truly unforgettable." Big Band Brothers has trans- formed Malta's music scene since percussionist and sing- er Daniel Cauchi founded the group in 2005, making and pro- ducing great music and push- ing its boundaries even further through different creative pro- jects. The fun and energetic musical outfit has performed extensively live and in collabo- ration with various artists, not just in Malta but also in Portu- gal, UK, Tunisia, Germany, Sic- ily, Turkey and Palestine. Performed in English and Maltese, TOI TOI: Big Band Brothers Easter Concert will feature Big Band Brothers with the participation of members from the Big Band Brothers Juniors band and Malta School of Music's Little BBB, as well as animateur and vocalist Mariele Żammit. TOI TOI: Big Band Brothers Easter Concert will take place at Teatru Manoel on 17 April at 6pm.
