14 maltatoday | WEDNESDAY • 1 JUNE 2022 COMMERCIAL New speakers announced for FLOW 22 The list of entrepreneurs and senior business leaders who will be sharing their experi- ences of digital transforma- tion at FLOW 22 continues to grow. Chris Busuttil Delbridge, CEO at Evolve Limited, which supplies medical and scientif- ic equipment and Pawlu Borg Bonaci, Managing Director at Elia Caterers, will join the likes of David Schranz, CEO of Da- kar Software, one of Malta's leaders in digital cloud-based payroll solutions and Malta Chamber of SMEs CEO Ab- igail Mamo in discussing re- al-life case studies of digital transformation within their own organisations. Isabelle Mamo, Director at 4Sight Group, which is organ- ising FLOW 22, said, "FLOW 22 is being designed specifical- ly so delegates can hear direct- ly from businesses that have, or are, undergoing a digital trans- formation. This will give them first-hand insights into what needs to be done to obtain the maximum benefit. Across six different sessions, we'll be tackling how technology can transform functions from HR and payroll to accounting and payment collection, sales and marketing, business intelli- gence, inventory and manufac- turing. Any business, regard- less of the sector they operate in, will benefit from attending FLOW 22 by gaining a better insight of what digital trans- formation means and how it can improve operational and financial performance." More information on FLOW 22, which is taking place on 16 June in collaboration with The Malta Chamber of SMEs, is available from https://www. flow.mt/. Entry to the event is free but subject to pre-regis- tration. This building, formerly the old administration block of the barracks, presently lies in a dilapidated state, having been occupied by squatters in the past. Now under Manage- ment by the Majjistral Board and administered by the Her- itage Parks Federation, which is made up of Din L-Art Hel- wa, Nature Trust and the Gaia Foundation, this latest social initiative by the foundation will see this historical proper- ty restored to its former glory. Once restored the Villa will be open to short-stay visitors looking to have a more immer- sive experience with nature. It will have three bedrooms and a fully functioning kitchen as well as a lounge area and land- scaped outside areas. The Chairman of the Foun- dation, Mr Joe Gasan said that the scope of the Foundation is to support social, environ- mental, and cultural initia- tives with a positive impact. This project, which involves the restoration of a historical building, which will be open for use by the public, ties in perfectly with the Founda- tion's vision. "The Foundation is looking forward to being involved in this project, even at grassroots level, and has already organ- ized teams of volunteers em- ployed with the Gasan Group to clear up the grounds as part of the Group's ongoing com- mitment to its CSR strategy." He added. Sammy Vella, Chairman of the Majjistral board thanked the Foundation for its gener- ous support, highlighting that this kind of partnership is the perfect example of how NGOs, Government and the private sector could work together to protect a part of Malta's nat- ural heritage. Darren Saliba, CEO for the park added that this year, in addition to con- servation works within the park boundaries, the Heritage Parks Federation, was also able to restore three of the barrack buildings, mainly through pri- vate companies sponsoring projects. This latest contribution from the Gasan Foundation was the largest one to date and he thanked the Foundation for its support which brought the Strategic Plan, agreed with the Environmental Resources Au- thority, a step closer to com- pletion.
