While Teatru Salesjan undergoes reno- vations, Company OneEleven, is putting together an exciting and entertaining production of The 25th Annual Putnam Spelling Bee at the Theatre Next Door, in Magħtab. The 25th Annual Putnam County Spell- ing Bee follows a group of young spellers as they vie for the trophy. Each speller reveals his/her hopes, struggles, and pas- sions as they make their way through the competition. Funny and poignant in equal parts, audiences will fall in love with the show itself and with its "perspicacious," "eccentric,"and "effervescent" spellers. The William Finn, Rachel Sheinkin and Rebecca Feldman musical will open at the Theatre Next Door on 21st of October at 8PM and 22 nd of October at 4PM & 8PM, and will feature some of the most exciting young talent in Malta. Denise Mulholland directs the Company OneEleven cast in this quirky, charming musical. Choreog- raphy is by Emma Loftus and Vocal Di- rection by Gillian Zammit.
