Latest schedule of courses launched by
the Malta Society of Arts
New term of
classes in visual
arts, crafts and
performing arts to
start in February
at Palazzo de La
Salle in Valletta
THE Malta Society of Arts
(MSA) has just launched its new
schedule of courses to start in
February, with classes taking
place at its seat, Palazzo de La
Salle in Valletta. The schedule
includes around 20 courses in
visual arts, crafts and perform-
ing arts, aimed at students of
all ages and levels of knowledge.
Lessons start at the beginning
of February, and continue until
the beginning of May, consist-
ing of around 12 lessons for each
course.
In the visual arts category, stu-
dents can join classes in Nude
Human Figure, Preparation
for an O' Level in Art, Art for
Kids, Art for Leisure for Adults,
Art for Leisure for Mature Stu-
dents, and Clay Modelling,
among others. For those inter-
ested in learning a craft, there
are courses in Lace-Making,
Crochet, Knitting, Dressmak-
ing, Tailoring and Sewing for
Beginners. The performing arts
section offers lessons in Piano-
forte, Guitar (electric, acoustic,
classic), as well as in Violin. For
this term, the MSA is introduc-
ing a new music course that has
never been offered before, the
Violoncello, offering the possi-
bility to study this fascinating in-
strument to both beginners and
more advanced students.
Applications are now open and
those interested are encouraged
to apply as soon as possible to
secure their place.
