Umbrella, a Cisco product, intercepts at- tempts to click on suspect links and stops the connection being made, protecting the user's network and devices, without interfering with their browsing experience. The service protects users from phishing attacks and malware – malicious software which can infect devices and put personal da- ta at risk – including specific threats such as Browser Hijackers, Trojans, Ransomware and Information Stealers. If any devices are compromised, Um- brella also prevents them from commu- nicating with hackers' Command and Control servers, helping to identify po- tentially infected devices on networks. Mireille Muscat, Head of Marketing at Melita, said: "Browsing the internet has become in- creasingly risky. The Umbrella cyber security service has been remarkably successful and literally acts like a safety net that offers users peace of mind." Melita blocks 300 million ISP security threats in past year
