The addition of a conference of doctors, which would include the mother's family doctor apart from hospital clinical chairs, would add a layer of delibera- tion over decisions to terminate a foetal life when this endangers the life and health of the moth- er, just as in cases for the remov- al of life support. Fearne, who doubles up as health and deputy prime minister, was indicated as the top performer by 12.5% of respondents, double that of the closest Cabinet col- league, Ian Borg. This is the first survey to ask people to rate their min- isters since the March gen- eral election, which saw the Labour Party secure its third consecutive term. Fearne emerges as the top performer among men and women, all age groups and in three of the six regions, plac- ing second in the rest.
