10 COMMERCIAL 16.2.2023 Record number of entries for the 2022 Malta Architecture and Spatial Planning (MASP) awards AN overwhelming record number of entries have been submitted for the 4th Edition of the Malta Architec- ture and Spatial Planning (MASP) Awards. The MASP Awards, which the Planning Authority (PA) organ- ises, seek to recognise, and celebrate contemporary architecture and de- sign projects that stand out for their creativity, innovation, and crafts- manship. This year, the Authority received over 100 entries spread over 12 cat- egories from well- established ar- chitectural and design firms and the upcoming generation of Perit and in- terior designers. The two most popular categories, with over 20 entries, are Interior Ar- chitecture for Commercial or Public Buildings and the Urban Planning Concept.
