epiro Edge is a multi-family
residential development that seeks
to re-imagine the typical terraced
apartment block by promoting a low-
density development enjoying communal
amenities.
Depiro Edge is located within the Urban
Conservation Area of St. Pauls Bay.
However, the site fronts a busy road, with
very narrow pavements. This situation
has led to severe urban degradation of
the area, were several abandoned and
dilapidated buildings characterise the
streetscape. The idiosyncrasy of the site lies
in the fact that it enjoys breath-taking sea
views and is situated directly above an area
of high landscape value. This duality was
the catalyst for the concept development of
this project that would result in a building
that is successful in its use and design and
contributes to the urban regeneration of
this area.
